April numbers show a significant decrease in trends from last April. We had 12,888 visitors, compared to 15,829 in April 2018. Our sessions decreased by 18.58% from last year, and page views decreased by 27.49% as well. The bounce rate went up by 3.5 % from 2018.

Analytics April 2019

There was a good increase in traffic from search engines. Our percentage of our Google traffic was 52% in 2018 and raised to 59% in 2019. Google organic search made up mostly all of this search traffic.

Our top three countries start with the United States, followed by India the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Acquisition reports show a decrease in all countries except India.

Photographer profile views were down to 10,433 from 16,541 last year. Profile clickthroughs were also down from 7,095 a year ago to 4,515 this past April.

Our top Photographer Spotlight blog posts in April were:

  • Wade Griffith: Cinemark’s Luxury Loungers
  • Tyler Chartier: Fine Woodworking
  • Clay Cook: Swamp People

Expert Advice: The Photographer’s Bio took the spot as the leading Member Blog post for April. Expert Advice: The Photographer-Agent Relationship took second, followed by Expert advice: Print Portfolios.
