That’s a (2017) wrap, folks! To commemorate the final month of the year, let’s take a closer look at our analytics report. Down from November, our page sessions totalled 15,258.
Similar to last month, the United States, yet again, held strong as the top location with 9,736 sessions, followed by Canada with 749 and the United Kingdom with 645. Additionally, this month, Spain and the Philippines climbed their way up into the top-ten chart with 133 and 107 sessions.
Amidst the month of December, our Find Photographers directory weighed in with a total of 6,172 searches, amounting to about to about 199 searches per day. Though it was a slower month due to holiday festivities and a plethora of out-of-office emails, profile views rounded out at 10,756 over the course of the winter month, with an average of 15 views per member. Topping off the list was Tom Kubik with 72 views, Ivan B. McClellan with 63 views, and Isaiah Stofferahn with 52 views.
At a total of 4,737 click-throughs, our members averaged just under 7 clicks each. Taking the cake, again this month, is Tom Kubik with 24 clicks, followed by Gregory Miller with 23 clicks, and Cameron Reynolds with 22 clicks.
Meanwhile, on the photographer news blog, we reached a total of 5,668 page views. Celebrating the month of December and leading the pack on article visits was the post entitled Wishing you a Wonderful Winter with 831 views. The article featured stunning wintery imagery by member photographers Gerard Yunker, Amber Fouts, Guillaume Megévand, Dirk Bruniecki, Stefan Fuertbaur, and Ackerman + Gruber. Listed below were our other top contenders for the month:
“New Year, New You,” as they say! That’s all we got for 2017, but we are excited about all that’s new in 2018.
