July’s analytics showed significant increases in users and sessions over both previous months and the same period last year. We also observed continued trends in lower pages/session, overall page views, and increasing bounce rate. Users increased from 12,037 last year 12.4% to 13,530 this year. New users were up a similar amount to 12,184, and total sessions increase 7.8% to 17,934 from 16,642. Despite this, we saw a decrease in pages per session (2.9) and average session duration (2:10). Pageviews decreased 4.9% from last July but were up to 52,650 from June’s 49,937.
Geographically, there was little change in the origin of visitors, with the United States representing approximately 65% of traffic and the UK, India, Canada, and Australia rounding out the top 5.
