November’s analytics show a decrease in most trends from a year ago, but overall increases in users and sessions from last month’s numbers. Sessions were down 8.01%, from 18,508 to 20,119 in 2017 and similarly, users were down 11.9%. However, in comparison to this October, users were up 11.53% and sessions were up 5.17%.
The lineup of the top five countries moved around from last month, with the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Canada, and Indonesia taking the top five slots. Acquisition reports continue to become more international when compared to last year, with the United States representing 52.85% of total traffic, compared to 59.05% in 2017.
Photographer profile views were down to 12,660 from 16,895 last year. Profile clickthroughs were also down from 5,811 to 4,997 this month, although this represents a pretty substantial increase in profile clickthrough rate, from 34.39% to 39.47%. The average clicks per photographer for November came in at 7.69.

The Member blog continues to see about the same amount of traffic as last year’s period, with 7,974 views last month, compared to 7,508 last year. Yet again, Expert Advice: The Photographer’s Bio received the most traffic, followed by Expert Advice: Finding a Rep and our Expert Advice: Print Portfolios post.
