Two sessions. 15 days of shooting. 150 final photographs. One happy client. Back in January, Dubai-based lifestyle photographer Antonio Saba took on a job for luxury InterContinental Hotels in the Festival City development of Dubai. While he completed the first session of 10 days in January, he revisited the job in June for five more days of hard work. After getting a good sense of visuals the hotel was looking for, Antonio made a list of everything that was needed for the process. He explains,
“After quoting, I prepare a cast of the talents needed. I get approval on this and I schedule the shooting sessions with the client as precisely as I can. I usually travel with my assistant and gear and hire a make-up artist and stylist on location.”
Combining elements of interiors, landscape, still-life and portraiture called for a demanding schedule; some days consisting of 10 hours or more. However, the sharp, cool outcome of the images make it seem effortless.
