Essen, Germany-based photographer Carsten Behler continued his working relationship with the German Sunday Newspaper Welt Am Sonntag, this time covering the life and work of activist Andreas Lackner. Lackner and two of his friends formed Tres Hombres, a business centered on emissions-free and fair trade cargo shipping.
They ship goods like rum, cacao, and coffee that all come from organic or fair trade farms from the Caribbean to Europe, and sell them to select dealers. Their idea is to make worldwide shipping by sea a clean business.
