One of the most important parts of our job as it relates to Wonderful Machine’s members is letting them know how we’ve been promoting them and their work. Our dedicated outreach team—consisting of Jemma, Natalia, Monica, Maia, Chris, Sarah, Helen, Will, and Michael—leaves no stone unturned when it searches for potential assignments for our photographers. They’ve been working remotely for a few months now and are in a nice groove with regards to outreach.
Here is our client research & outreach report for May 2020.
As in the month of April, in May we adjusted our outreach process slightly, pushing harder on client research and building up our database of prospects. Along with this focus on research, we’ve been ramping up our email campaigns to those clients. Many of you have participate in our Creative In Place series.
Collectively, our research and outreach team added 3,188 people (talk about prolific!) and 59 companies to our database in April. The team also has to verify contact info for many of those clients — the business world keeps changes (especially these days). They also updated 111 people and 1,485 companies.
During the month of May we sent out 11 stock requests, from clients including Der Spiegel & Martha Stewart Living, Kohler, Scientific American, and HGTV.
Among our successes, Andrew Dolph shared,
