It’s been a while since we’ve written about Richard Fleischman, one of our talented member photographers based in Minneapolis, MN. In the past, we worked with Rich on a new logo and website. We were excited about working together again – this time on an emailer template design.
Rich had a few questions about his options and the process, and rightfully so! First off, the email management system you’re planning on using dictates the majority of the design process. For most photographers, that means Agency Access or MailChimp. While we’ve seen photographers have success with both systems, Richard ultimately decided that he should go forward using MailChimp. He already had a list of contacts that he wanted to send his emailer to, which eliminated the need for Agency Access’ list-purchasing service).
Rich was thrilled with the template, saying “I love it, it looks great!”
He decided to have a variation of his email template where he could send notes to his past clients as a follow-up – a very nice sentiment which I’m sure goes a long way and keeps him on his clients’ radar. So based on this request, we created a secondary template for these types of notes.
We sent test emails to Rich and ourselves to view the emailer on both phones and computers to make sure everything was refined to our standards. Once Rich approved both templates, he was ready to start dazzling clients and prospects alike via his revamped email marketing.
