Fashion Photography for Esquire and Inked

BY Wonderful Machine 27 February 2008
Fashion Published, Photographer Spotlight

We have two different takes on the fashion photography shoot in this blog entry:

1) Portland-based fashion photographer Robbie McClaran captured the fall/winter fashion spread for Esquire magazine, and the models were actual mountain rescue workers:

These stylish gentlemen are the Portland Mountain Rescue members and were involved in some high-profile winter search and rescue operations on Mt. Hood last winter.

2) Brooklyn-based Shane McCauley shot this 10-page spread for Inked magazine in the Mojave Desert. It was 115 degrees! Here’s a peek:

Shane said this about the location:

It was a vintage trailer park that some guy built in his backyard…he works renting vintage camping props for the film industry.
