Vancouver, Canada-based photographer Grant Harder snapped a portrait of awarded and controversial novelist Salman Rushdie for the cover of Montecristo magazine. The shoot took place in the water’s edge neighborhood of Coal Harbour in downtown Vancouver.
Grant had a strict 15-minute allotment to capture portraits with Rushdie.
When his publicist said we were out of time, I actually believed her. Mr. Rushdie literally walked out of our location and boarded a float plane!
