Boston, Massachusetts-based Ian MacLellan shot images of a treasured local ski slope in West Windsor, Vermont to accompany a conservation story for non-profit organization The Trust For Public Land’s magazine, Land + People.
Local residents banded together to buy Ascutney Mountain, protecting it from developers after the ski resort that once drove their tourism and economy closed down, saving their ski spot and their town in the process.
