Finland-based commercial photographer Antti Karppinen specializes in composite imagery and recently used his skills for a unique project for IT company Vincit.
The images were not for promotion, but rather for internal use to empower the team to focus on the goals for the future.
Antti created a total of 10 images with almost 100 people in total. He began by interviewing all the teams to decide what kind of image would suit that team:
Some teams saw the future and their work in SciFi environment— the mobile team wanted to have some new futuristic hologram displays and mobile devices in the image. Some hoped there would be more women in the teams of the future. Ideas that teams had were totally random. Some wanted Chuck Norris and McGyver themed imaginary, some spaceships, electricity, bug control vehicles and penguins. Robot dinosaur, roller coasters, rocky statue, SWAT training course, tesla coils, rockets, ninjas .. you get the point.
Antti then sketched the images, deciding on the main elements and locations for the people. Once the sketches were approved by the team, he took the photos. All were taken at the Vincit office. He then worked with 3D artist Lassi Pentikäinen to create the images.
The images will be hung in the Vincit office in the form of large chrome prints as a constant reminder that they are “the best place to work in Finland.”
