Portland-based photographer Isaac Lane Koval has a long working relationship with Portland Monthly magazine and is a regular contributor through commissioned and stock sales. He recently completed a cover and feature for Portland Monthly’s June issue.
Editorial budgets are often small so instead of hiring a producer, the art director and myself handled the production. I have a good number of contacts in the outdoor industry so on more outdoor oriented shoots like this one I take the lead. I love working with Portland Monthly because they give me a lot of creative freedom and often the projects fit right in with my passions.
