WM had a solid amount of traffic in March. The search site saw 15,235 sessions and 53,752 pageviews, with the number of pageviews more than doubling last March’s total of 21,794:
Here’s the geography stats from last month, the US led the way once again, followed by China, the UK, Canada and Germany. China has been in the number two spot for the past four months, beating out the UK (which had historically been our second highest source of traffic) in March by nearly 1,000 sessions. Our stats from China also include an extremely high percentage of new sessions (nearly 99 percent), meaning that almost all of our visitors from China were using WM for the first time:
The blog generated 18,234 sessions and 66,819 pageviews last month. I also included the “shared URLs” below, which show which blog posts got the most traffic from our social media platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter. Craig’s Pricing & Negotiating article (which included the most expensive bid that he’s ever written about) saw great traffic from social media, totaling 2,315 sessions in March alone. Posts about large consulting projects, like Richard Silver’s new graphic identity and Istvan Vizner’s new website, also got a lot of views from social media.
