Teneriffe, Australia-based photographer Mark Lehn recently completed a self-assigned project that appeared in this month’s edition of Get Lost travel magazine. Mark traveled to Borneo at the beginning of this year, working with local translators and guides to create these photos of the Dayak Iban people.
The Dayak Iban are a largely traditional subculture located in Borneo. They have a visibly strong connection to nature and family, which I found really inspiring. I first found out about them when researching for an earlier project on The Sea Gypsies of Borneo.
