Member Open House: LinkedIn for Photographers

BY Nadia Kiyatkina 1 March 2021
Intel

We’ve talked many times before about the importance of maintaining a quality LinkedIn page, but as the site continues to expand its capabilities, photographers must be aware of the relevant developments to fully take advantage of its services.

As Project Manager, I, Nadia Kiyatkina, have written an article not only about the LinkedIn platform itself, but also the best ways to seek out potential clients through LinkedIn and other online resources. In that article I emphasize how having a top-notch LinkedIn page is only half the battle these days — creatives need to be proactive in tracking down and contacting Brands, Publications, and Agencies with whom they want to work.

I help many photographers every day by putting together diverse lists of potential clients, making me an expert when it comes to efficiently reaching out to the people who hire photographers at a given company.

Listen in as I go over topics such as the best LinkedIn groups to join to stay on clients’ radars and how to locate the people who actually hire photographers on the website. And keep an eye out for how to find clients on our new website, which Bill goes over during this discussion.

To learn more about LinkedIn and this line of client outreach, check out our articles on LinkedIn, Client Job Titles, and Brands.

To sign up for our premium client search, contact our Photo Editing Department.

Need help polishing up your LinkedIn — or with client outreach in general? Send us an email with any questions or concerns.
