Member Open House: Shoot Production in the Age of COVID-19

BY Craig Oppenheimer 23 December 2020
Intel

I recently published this article about producing a shoot during the Covid pandemic, and given all of the ways the pandemic has impacted our industry, we decided to dedicate a Member Open House to the topic, which you can watch a recording of below.

Shoot Production During the Age of COVID at the Wonderful Machine Member Open House

The pre-production process leading up to a shoot can be remarkably complicated, and the COVID pandemic certainly added another layer of complexity. To address the concerns of both our crew and clients, we strategically developed a plan of attack on how to handle the new precautions and safety protocols that needed to be implemented. From location cleaning to Covid testing, waivers, backup plans and remote viewing, I shared a presentation that conveyed everything I’ve learned and all of the best practices that we abide by, in a discussion that I hope provided a real world perspective on these new changes and challenges. You can see a recording of the discussion here:

Wonderful Machine hosts Open House events each month on topics of interest to commercial and editorial photographers.
