As part of their popular ImageMakers series, APA/NY has invited photographers Bill Cramer and David H. Wells to speak separately about their experiences in photography. The talk is this Monday night at the Apple Soho store in New York city. Previous speakers include Nadav Kander, Platon, Andrew Hetherington, Wonderful Machine’s own Landon Nordeman, and many other notable photographers.
Bill Cramer plans to discuss his origins assisting Steven Meisel, his work as an AP photojournalist, his current career as an editorial and advertising photographer, and his subsequent founding of Wonderful Machine.
He will also offer adivce on branding and marketing photography, including how photographer’s reps, consultants and sourcebooks fit into the equation.
He’s entitled the discussion, “An Obsessive-Compulsive’s Guide to Branding and Marketing”. They’re having refreshments afterwards, so please say hi to him if you attend. A few of us Wonderful Machinists will be in the audience, too (yours truly included).
Here’s the rest of what APA/NY has to say about Bill:
