October has officially wrapped, as has another successful month of Wonderful Machine traffic. Last month, our search site saw 16,426 visits and 25,689 pageviews, with our unique visitors up 22% from this time last year. Furthermore, our average duration per visit was up 60% from this time last year, with the average visitor staying over eight minutes. This means that people are visiting the site, and actually spending time there. Let’s keep them coming!
The Wonderful Machine blog saw 21,391 visits and 74,594 pageviews in October, up 15% from this time last year. Of these visits, 67% were new visitors.
Below are the top ten October traffic sources to our main search site. The WM blog led the way, driving 1,394 visits, followed by Feature Shoot and A Photo Editor. We also have our CEO, Bill Cramer, as well as Jared Polin of Fro Knows Foto to thank for driving nearly 200 new visitors to our site, following Bill’s podcast interview with Jared.
Below are our top clicked photographers in October. Tungsten led the way with 163 clicks, followed by Kevin Necessary, Laura Stevens, Martin Bauendahl and Francois Sechet.
