I’m pleased to announce that two Wonderful Machine photographers—Amanda Mustard and Michael Clinard—have made PDN‘s 30 list for 2015!
Since 1999, PDN’s 30 list has honored 30 standout photographers each year. Photographers are nominated by colleagues or invited by the editors based on work seen in promos or at industry events. According to their website, the chosen photographers “represent a variety of styles and genres and have demonstrated a distinctive vision, creativity, and versatility.”
It is easy to see why Michael and Amanda were chosen. Michael’s quirky, creative, and conceptual photographs are unlike anything seen from others in the business, and Amanda’s groundbreaking photojournalism accurately and fairly covers heavy subjects such as Egypt’s Arab Spring and survivors of the Nanjing Massacre.
