When it rains, it pours. And we all have those days. Maybe you need a photographer last minute, your tire went flat on your way to the office, you spilled coffee on your favorite shirt, or maybe you just need a little help finding what you’re looking for. Which is why, for our May print mailer (printed by Modern Postcard), we chose this quiet image from LA-based photographer Kyle Monk to remind creatives that, Rain or Shine, we’re here to help.
I caught up with Kyle to get a bit of background on the image:
The image was taken for Orange Coast Magazine. The portrait is of legendary baseball scout Don Pries. 86 year-old Pries was inducted into the Baltimore Orioles Hall of Fame. Great man, with great stories. A true baseball fan and lover of the game! We shot a variety of looks throughout the day at Angel Stadium but in the end this was by far my favorite shot.
