London-based photographer Richard James Taylor was contacted by National Geographic Traveller to photograph a cover feature on Barcelona through the eyes of its local residents. Richard has worked with the magazine for a number of years now, but the idea behind this project was to interview and take pictures of a selection of individuals who are prominent and well-known in their fields, to get a local’s perspective on the city of Barcelona. The portraits Richard captured are featured on the cover and throughout the September issue.
