Introducing The Charles, the new hot spot in Atlanta, Georgia that has become the epitome of Buckhead living and culture. Enjoy an elevated atmosphere, including a full-floor amenity terrace that connects its residents to its surrounding neighborhoods. The Charles is the perfect mix of classy condos and outside shopping that makes it an extremely desirable down-south destination.
The London-based agency, Wordsearch, recently contacted Los Angeles-based photographer Rocco Ceselin about taking on this shoot in Buckhead, Atlanta. They needed Rocco to create lifestyle images for The Charles; a new real estate project. The goal was to create a branded series of pictures that The Charles could use for various marketing efforts. Rocco’s work would need to display the new high-end luxury living concepts paired with the beautiful restaurants and stores located in one of the most prestigious parts of Atlanta.
Wordsearch did most of the planning and pre-production, which included creating a comprehensive mood board and talent list for Rocco’s review. While this was happening, Rocco became involved in putting together and organizing his crew for the shoot. Therefore, Rocco hired two local assistants, Jarrett Christian and Oktawian Oleski, plus stylists Jabe and Sav Wood. In favor of keeping things local, Rocco ended up renting his equipment in Atlanta as well.
Rocco’s shooting schedule was intense; he spent an entire day scouting all the possible locations in Buckhead in order to plan the shoot for the following day. This narrow time slot was challenging since the two marketing directors, Kelly Moore and Anna Futoryan, would arrive just the day before from London and New York City. The team did a quick briefing the night before Rocco went scouting and they spent the following day organizing each setup and location to fit the timeframe. This planning was crucial since Rocco decided to photograph a variety of different scenes in one day.
The Charles loved the photos, and most of them are now on billboards all around the Buckhead area. They also used them for their website as well. Rocco attributes his success with the project to his organic and natural style which fit the client’s needs perfectly.
This shoot was Rocco’s first time in Atlanta, and his favorite part was the Peach State’s famous southern hospitality.
The landscape was so lush and green, it reminded me Europe. I really enjoyed discovering this part of town so much. My whole team was absolutely amazing, professional and enthusiastic. We created a great energy which shows in the final photos.
As for future plans for the project, Rocco can’t wait to get back to Buckhead and further the future development of The Charles.
