If you’re reading this post, prepare for hunger. Birmingham-based photographer Stephen DeVries recently shot a re-branding campaign for Milo’s, a classic hamburger chain based in Alabama. Stephen described the shot list as “huge,” and only had two days to accomplish it.
There were several challenges with this project, mostly time-related because we were shooting right before and right after Christmas. We needed to do quite a bit of work in a limited amount of time so we had to use the entire crew to keep things flowing. I had an incredible team, from art direction to food styling and prop styling, and that kept the shoot moving well and made the shoot days a lot of fun.
Feast your eyes on some of the images below. Food styling: Ana Kelly, prop styling: Callie Aldridge, art direction: Cayenne Creative
The images are being used in everything from billboards and menu boards to drive-through displays around Alabama.
The client loved the images and has already contacted Stephen for an upcoming shoot for some new additions to the menu. For more of Stephen’s work, visit his website.
