We receive a steady stream of stock requests throughout the year, and although things usually slowdown in December, two big clients reached out to us to source a variety of images.
The first request came in through our website from the agency BBDO. They sought portraits of real first responders for their client General Electric, so executive producer Craig Oppenheimer jumped right in to confirm budget, licensing, and creative direction. He then used that information to craft the emailer that went out to photographers.
Craig then reviewed submissions as they came in and shared them with BBDO so they could make their final selection.
The second request we received was from VMLY&R, an agency looking for images of cotton fields and agricultural shots featuring cotton farmers for their client, the BASF corporation. Craig had an established relationship with the agency, and they emailed him directly.
With COVID restrictions forcing many in the industry to take a new approach to sourcing photography, we expect to be able to share even more stock requests from Brand and Agency clients with you in 2021.
