Wonderful Machine received four stock requests last month – from Der Spiegel, Atlas Obscura, Travel + Leisure, and Pioneer Woman Magazine. All of them were unmanaged (meaning the photographer is free to submit photos and negotiate directly with the client.)
The first one that came through was from Der Spiegel Magazine and it requested images of various entrepreneurs — Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Warren Buffet — along with images of resort islands and wealthy parties, for one-time publication use.
The second request came from the global discoverers at Atlas Obscura, who requested images of Carnival from lesser-known locations or featuring unusual aspects of the event. This request was for web use in perpetuity.
The third request was from Travel + Leisure and asked for cultural San Diego locations, such as art museums and performing art centers. This request was for one-time publication use in their May 2022 issue.
The final request of the month came from Pioneer Woman Magazine, looking for vertical images of a summery “country-urban” porch scene for one-time publication use.
