In July, we felt a rise in temperatures and our stock requests started heating up too! Elliman Magazine, Amica Magazine, AARP, and AT&T all submitted requests this month. We had three unmanaged stock requests (meaning that the photographer negotiated usage of the images on their own) and one managed stock request (we organized the photos for the benefit of the client and negotiated the fee for the benefit of the photographer).
The first request came from Elliman Magazine (published by Douglas Elliman Real Estate) for images of upscale tree-lined streets in West Hollywood, especially in affluent neighborhoods. The request was for one-time print and web use.
The second request came from Amica Magazine for multiple fall/winter travel & lifestyle images that tell a story, specifically in the Wallonia (western French-speaking) region of Belgium. The request was for one-time use in their print publication.
Our third request came from AARP Magazine seeking recent portraits of astronomer and “Cosmos” TV show host, Neil deGrasse Tyson (from within the last two years). This was for one-time editorial use.
Our final request for the month came from AT&T seeking lifestyle stills and videos of millennials in Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Raleigh. The images would be used for online, social, and regional DOOH (digital out-of-home – meaning billboards and kiosks and bus shelters, etc.)
