With the thrill and excitement of Halloween fresh on our minds, our stock requests in October were as fruitful as a child’s trick or treat basket. Wonderful Machine received five stock requests during the spookiest month of the year. Four were unmanaged stock requests (meaning the photographer negotiated usage of the images on their own) and one was a managed stock request (we organized the photos for the benefit of the client and negotiated a fee for the benefit of the photographer).
In its request, Der Spiegel sought images of the ConEd headquarters in New York, their solar panels, as well as other wind and solar power throughout the country, including solar and wind farms that are in the process of being built. The request was for 1x print editorial use.
Travel + Leisure magazine requested scenic images of points of interest around the Paddington neighborhood in Sydney, Australia. The images were to include interiors and exteriors with people in the distance, food, displays, etc. for their February 2023 issue.
Der Spiegel also requested recent portraits of Facebook & Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg for 1x print editorial use.
Nutro Mars Pet Food sought images of our furry friends (cats) posed for placement inside a branded layout. The usage was for one year worldwide print advertising, collateral, and POP/in-store display.
And last but not least, Pioneer Woman Magazine requested images of window flower boxes in suburban or rural areas of the United States. A 1x use for print and web collateral.
