Each month, we take a look at our analytics and see which countries are sending us the most traffic. Typically, as you would expect, the majority of our traffic comes from the US, the UK, and Canada. However, in recent months, we’ve noticed a significant boost in visitors from Asian countries.
With this in mind, we decided to place an MPU advertisement with Campaign Asia-Pacific for our June ad, which ran last month on the campaignasia.com homepage. Campaign Asia is a popular go-to site for advertising and marketing clients looking for news about the media market in Asia. Since the ad was targeted at the Asian market, we decided to feature this eye-catching image from US and Thailand-based travel and portraiture photographer Aaron Joel Santos, as part of a beautifully branded gif created by our designers.

For the ad’s duration, we saw a significant bump in new users from Asian countries—which was our goal! We were also pleased with the placement of the ad and the gif’s performance, and the fact that most of the referrals were people who were being introduced to the site for the first time.
