As a Senior Photo Editor at Wonderful Machine, I have the pleasure of collaborating with talented photographers to help showcase their beautiful work and attract their dream clients. I recently collaborated with New York-based portrait photographer Jayme Thornton. Jayme sought the expertise of Wonderful Machine for a Web Edit to add a little extra sparkle to make his dream clients sit up, take notice, and reach out.
The journey began with a deep dive into Jayme’s website during a comprehensive audit. We wanted to highlight his talent by aligning the photo galleries with the visual direction he wanted to pursue. There were too many galleries that were overlapping and it was vital to establish cohesion with the edit. Our primary goal was to focus on his Portraiture, Still Life, and Lighting imagery.
To create a more cohesive and impactful online presence, we also decided to reimagine and rename certain galleries, condensing those that overlapped in themes. This strategic decision would amplify Jayme’s artistic brand and ensure that his photography truly stood out from the crowd.
When you land on Jayme’s home page, you are now greeted by two images that instantly captivate your gaze. As you navigate through the website, his artistic brand becomes abundantly clear, highlighting the stunning subjects, unique perspectives, and flawless lighting that Jayme captures with ease. Each page and photograph invites you into a world where beauty and emotion harmoniously intertwine. It’s an experience that leaves a lasting impression and compels you to dive deeper into his portfolio.
