Photography duo Trinette Reed and Chris Gramly are all about the “California Lifestyle” for the content and style of their photographs, so when Beringer Winery in Napa Valley, California approached them about a lifestyle shoot, they were all in. The winery wanted promotional imagery to showcase their St. Helena location for wine tasting, so Trinette + Chris grabbed their favorite crew and talent, and headed over to the vineyard.
Beringer Winery wanted Trinette + Chris to show all of the various locations the property had to offer, so they planned shots for the private indoor tasting rooms, the outdoor tastings on the porch, the general store where visitors can eat lunch, and the lush outdoor bocci ball and picnic areas.
Trinette says that the biggest variable for the shoot was the weather. They, of course, wanted to show people in the outdoor areas when it was sunny and gorgeous, but November is infamous for bringing rain in the San Fransisco Bay Area. The forecast for the day called for 100% chance of rain, so they planed alternate locations for the originally planned outdoor locations. The wine gods must have been in good spirits, though, because the day brought only fantastic weather without a drop of rain.
Beringer Winery was really pleased with the images, and especially excited that Trinette + Chris got some extra shots that were not on the original shot list.
Trinette says that in addition to a great shoot, she and Chris got to do a little wine tasting at lunch, and were also given free wine tasting gift certificates, which they can’t wait to go back and use.
We love wine, we love Napa, and we love our crew and this client, so it was a really fun project all around.
