Kat Schleicher is a freelance commercial and editorial photographer based in the Midwest, with 20 years of professional photograhy experience. Originally from Central Illinois, she has lived in Japan, Colorado, and Los Angeles before settling in Milwaukee with her family. Kat earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Besides photography, Kat has an education background. She's currently a Continuing Ed Instructor at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and volunteers as a 4-H club leader. Her past roles include Adjunct Professor and University Photographer. Before pursuing on photography full-time, Kat worked as an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan, which had a significant impact on her life and work.
