“I am a photographer because I want to create, share, elevate the production, and collaborate with others who have creative ideas. I photograph because it’s my way of telling the story.”
Chad continues to create content for national brands as well as many local and editorial clients. He lives in Minneapolis, MN with his wife and 3 children.
Bilbao- San Sebastian- Biarritz editorial and commercial photographer. A day before I was due to begin a degree at the University of Bolton, I decided Computer Sciences did not factor in my future and withdrew from the course to pursue a career in photography. From Bolton I headed East to China where, while studying for an MA in Photojournalism, I worked for a number of agencies, newspapers and magazines. In 2007 I headed back to Europe, returning to my hometown Bilbao in 2008. Currently I am based between Bilbao (Spain) and Biarritz (France) when not travelling abroad. I am represented by Panos Pictures. Since 2018 I am fully licensed drone operator.

I was born into a big, footloose family in Long Beach California. I worked for more than a decade as a newspaper photographer—a job that let me chase another passion, concert photography.
In 1989 I joined the staff of Southern Living Magazine as a senior photographer for Travel. That was so much fun I stayed for almost 25 years, shooting hundreds of features, and logging more than four million frequent flyer miles. Now freelance, I still love creating story-telling images. My years of photographing music, food, and culture have made me adept at putting people at ease and working in a relaxed, energetic style.
I am represented by Wonderful Machine, while my classic concert work is represented by Rock Paper Photo, the definitive place for pop culture fine art photography. https://www.rockpaperphoto.com/browse-by-photographer/art-meripol More of my concert work can be view at oldschoolconcerts.photoshelter.com
I’m based in beautiful Birmingham, Alabama and always packed and ready for the next shoot. When I’m not on the road or on a shoot, you can find me walking our two dogs, cooking dinner, or playing Disc Golf.

I am a native of Pennsylvania, but I have been living and working as a photographer in Spain since 2011. Before that, I was a Visiting Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology.
I specialize in portrait-based stories and campaigns, but I also shoot a lot of reportage-style imagery, automobiles and short films.
My personal work normally stems from things that are a part of my life in one way or another, and represent a curiosity that I have about people. It is this curiosity that makes me want to keep being a photographer. I also love to travel.
I am fluent in English and Spanish.
I live in Washington, DC, with my reporter wife; son, Cillian; and daughter, Orla. You might catch a glimpse of them here.
Back in the day, I studied photojournalism at the University of Missouri and worked for some newspapers. Now, I mostly work
for magazine, corporate, advertising and non-profit clients.
And when I’m not working at making images, I’m probably working over the stove, grill and/or tending bar for friends.
I’m based in Austin but work all over Texas and the rest of the country. Maintaining a consistent aesthetic, many of my projects are in the commercial advertising and editorial world but you’ll find some personal experiments and explorations in the Series column. These productions are big and small from multi-day lifestyle cast and shoots to just me and the subject in a low key setting. Strongly architectural images and interiors are a concentration with their own home at craigwashburnplaces.com. I am also the founder of still-motion pictures, a fresh merging of motion, photography and animation.
My passion for photography started when I was 12 years old. My father handed me his Nikon camera and told me to go down to the Texas Stadium sideline and take photos of my brother who was playing football. When we got the film back a few days later we were both pleasantly surprised. I can still remember the exhilaration of that moment. I get that same feeling today when I see the image flash in my viewfinder and later again on my computer. Especially now that I’m doing what I love for people who really need that special image for their company.
I’m a freelance photographer based in Mexico City.
The work here is a mix of commissioned work and personal interest.
I like to shoot with available light when possible to be neat and clear!
Clients I have worked for include: MBLM Dubai, Monocle Magazine, Wallpaper Magazine, NY Times, Magee, Culture Trip, Virtue Agency, Blink LA, Branch Bank, Tenaris Tamsa, NBC Networks
