I am a documentary photographer and photojournalist based in New Orleans, Louisiana working regularly in the Gulf Coast region, New York City, and anywhere else my assignments bring me. More so than a photographer, I feel I am a listener. Photography has taught me to empathize, and it affords me the opportunity to connect with people at an intimate level, something I value immensely. For this reason, photography has had a profound impact on my life, and the way I interact and communicate with others–the photographs themselves are the cherry on top. It's the connection to individuals, cultures, and places that drives my work.
Whether it is a runner focusing before an Olympic race, a refugee becoming the first of her community to receive a university degree or a climber looking up at the mountain he will measure himself against, emotions are the common thread, human and universal. Telling people stories with earnestness and honesty is what I strive to do every time I pick up a camera. I am grateful that photography has given me so many opportunities to live unique experiences. There are too many to list exhaustively, but highlights include sailing an expedition yacht around Cape Horn, being invited to an Ethiopian coffee ceremony in Dadaab Refugee Camp, photographing Usain Bolt at the Olympics, skiing to the North Pole, naming three (small) mountains in Greenland, adventure racing through Tierra del Fuego, climbing on K2 and getting winched from a rescue helicopter at night [1]. I can't wait to see what happens next! My work is currently divided more or less evenly between adventure and humanitarian/development projects. I currently live in Canmore, Alberta, but frequently travel back to my former home base of Chamonix, France.

Born in Botswana, in a rural hospital his dad likes to remind him only charged them 17 pula for the privilege, Tobin began his life in the small dusty village of Gumare on the banks of the Okovango Delta. It wasn’t too long though, before his family moved on, this time to the the capital city of Lilongwe in Malawi. It was here Tobin spent the majority of his childhood, riding his bike around town, fighting with his siblings, and generally learning how to be a kid. Finally, when he was 10 his family once again moved up the African continent, this time to Kenya – where Tobin finished up high school. Having photographed throughout Africa, and sometimes further afield, for the last decade – through his work Tobin has attempted to not only cover the breadth of the continent, but also the diversity within it. This has included stories on Somalia’s fight against Al Shabab and the country’s emergence from more than 20 years of civil war, to transgender issues, and the intersection of modern religion with traditional healing practices in slums. Tobin holds a bachelor’s degree in International Development, with minors in Economics and Political Science, from McGill University and a Master’s degree in Photojournalism from the University of Westminster. Today he lives in Nairobi, Kenya, where he runs the photo collective NonAligned and works as a freelance photographer and videographer.
Based in the Midwest (Milwaukee/Chicago). Available for travel worldwide, anywhere, anytime. Exploration and curiosity drive my work as an artist and photographer. I specialize in editorial portrait and advertising photography as well as lifestyle, corporate, food, and travel. I have a BFA in painting, and over twenty years of experience as a photographer. Inspirations: mountain views, southwest desert air, finding magic in the ordinary, and getting my hands dirty in a garden. Interests include: cheese (all dairy products in general), plant hoarding, postcard collecting, reading magazines, and and giving belly rubs to my blue heelers.

Pietro Milici is an Italian photographer based in the USA, where he works as a freelance photographer and videographer. His work is mainly based on architecture and portraits: “I love how architecture can be a portrait of the society and the world we live in, and how a portrait of a person is the structure of the life each one of us lives every day.”He starts working as a photographer in 2007. In 2012 he graduates in Marine Biology in Italy, and in 2013 he receives his Master's degree in Photography and Design at Elisava Design School in Barcelona. After various exhibitions in the city of Barcelona, he collaborates with artists and photographers, commencing his work as a professional photographer. In his works, he employs different technics using both digital and film. “I care deeply about photography, it is how I express myself and my point of view to the outside world. I am inherently interested in this discipline as a way of conceiving the city, the architecture, the people, their emotions, and their stories. I search for the unexpected, the untold, the overlooked and reveal any hidden facets that the subject – be it a person or a city street – might withhold."

Growing up in the heart of the flyover states (Indiana), sometimes I'm even surprised that I live in Texas now. After receiving an early career grant from the National Geographic Society to work in coastal Louisiana, I moved down south and made Houston my home. They say you'll adjust to the heat, but I'm four years in and growing more skeptical by the day. When not taking care of my houseplants or triathlon training, I'm a full-time independent editorial and commercial photographer interested in photographing where climate and culture collide. I've been commissioned to do work for The New York Times, HBO, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Airbnb, The Washington Post, NPR, Bloomberg Businessweek, AFP, Buzzfeed News and Paper Magazine among other clients. I'm also a FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilot.

I don’t enjoy talking or writing about myself; I like my photographs to do that for me. Yet I know it is helpful for those reviewing my body of work to know a little about me and how I approach my profession. The photo I’ve elected to include of me is from my first visit to Poland at the age of 10. My Ciocia Nusia bought me my first camera, igniting a curiosity that has matured over time and experience but remains the cornerstone of my approach to my work. Photography has provided me with the opportunity to work with subjects and attend events that I would otherwise have missed, thereby enriching my professional and personal lives. I love the creative side of photography and each year complete independent photographic projects so I continue to learn and never become complacent. My goal is to help such organizations develop their voice. When working with clients, I firmly believe collaboration is important to ensure the product is of the highest quality, meets the clients’ needs and desires, and is delivered in a timely manner. No matter what size a project is, I pride myself in doing whatever it takes to get a great product. My clients range from Loyola Hospital, BusinessWeek, DDB, Supercuts, Northwestern University, Forbes, Follett of Higher Learning, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, BlackWell Consulting, First Health, Harley Davidson, GTCR, Simple Truth, Allstate and Apple, Inc.

I've been proud to call Florida my home since 2007. It's a weird place and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am an editorial, commercial and advertising photographer based in Tampa Bay although I often work in Miami, Orlando and elsewhere. I've been fortunate to be a part of a vibrant photo community here in Florida since graduating with a degree in Photojournalism from Western Kentucky University. After working as a staff photographer for a Ft. Lauderdale based NGO traveling to Central America and the Caribbean, I made my home in Tampa with my wife, Megan, and our two daughters. When I’m not living the dream, you can find me traveling, scuba or freediving, or some combination of those. I am a professional level member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP). My archive is represented by Redux Pictures. Feel free to also check out my portfolios at foundfolios, PDN's photoserve, and Wonderful Machine. I was also fortunate to be part of The Washington Post team that won the Public Service Pulitzer Prize in 2022.
I am a commercial and editorial photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. The youngest of four kids in a military family, there were five stamps in my passport by the time I was five years old. My father retired from the air force just before I entered kindergarten and we moved to North Florida where life became more predictable. A few years later, I began to take pictures (mostly of my pets and friends) with my mom's point-and-shoot to entertain myself and also because I loved going to K-Mart where I could sit at the counter and talk to people while waiting for my prints to shuffle out of the machine. my work is a combination of storytelling and portraiture, often with a focus on social issues. My roots are in the American south and I am as passionate about doing work here as any other place in the world. I am a Spanish-speaker (also fluent in non-verbal communication) and have worked extensively in central and south America, Europe, and Asia.
