My interest in photojournalism stemmed from a recognition of my own—and America’s—ignorance of Islam and the Middle East in the wake of 9/11 and its wars. After studying photojournalism and philosophy, I moved to Cairo just before the start of the Arab Spring in 2011. For the next 9 years, I covered breaking news in Egypt, Libya, Syria, and Sudan, while also working on in-depth stories of religion, human rights, and cultural life in the region.
One favorite project was co-founding Panorama with Mada Masr, a platform for showcasing the best photojournalism from Egypt and issues of interest to the greater Arab world. I was also a founding contributor to @EverydayMiddleEast.
My work has been published widely, appearing in outlets such as National Geographic, Rolling Stone, and the New York Times, Der Spiegel, and Le Monde Magazines. One of my long-term projects, “Modern Miracles,” which documents the physical imprint of the spiritual world, was the subject of a solo exhibition at Maqad Sultan Qaytbay in 2017.
I am a native of Pennsylvania, but I have been living and working as a photographer in Spain since 2011. Before that, I was a Visiting Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology.
I specialize in portrait-based stories and campaigns, but I also shoot a lot of reportage-style imagery, automobiles and short films.
My personal work normally stems from things that are a part of my life in one way or another, and represent a curiosity that I have about people. It is this curiosity that makes me want to keep being a photographer. I also love to travel.
I am fluent in English and Spanish.
Big, bold, beautiful photography.
Growing up in Southwestern Idaho, I had a great love for all things creative and was generally thought of as an all around weird kid. My access to the arts and culture were limited mostly to a TV, my dad’s audio cassette deck, and an upright piano.

Based in Miami Beach, Florida
If you got a problem, yo I’ll solve it.
Hi. I’m Dan Cutrona. I am a photographer. But you know that already. I borrowed a car to shoot my first assignment at the local newspaper when I was 17, and I haven’t put a camera down since. After photographing my fair share of car accidents and crime scenes, I realized I wanted to create pretty pictures. Over the past 20+ years (don’t do the math), I have photographed almost every square inch of Cape Cod. I consider Miami my home away from home, and have worked with many clients, commercial and editorial throughout Southern Florida.
I love what I do. I love walking into a space, absorbing it, and knowing that I can capture the light and essence of it to show the world. Making a space come alive, highlighting the way the light bounces, the angles, the craftsmanship of the architecture and design proves to be endlessly fascinating. I also love capturing people in these spaces. Environmental portraits constantly challenge me to try and make a picture that is worth way more than a thousand words.

Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
I'm a commercial and editorial photographer based in Philadelphia and ready to travel anywhere. What does that mean, exactly? I work with anyone who has a story to tell about their brand and recognizes the value of images to accomplish that. I work with small non-profits and large pharmaceutical companies alike, always with the goal of conveying emotion and authenticity by connecting with the people I photograph. I'd like to think that the greatest skill I bring to a photo shoot has nothing to do with cameras or lighting, it's empathy and respect for the people who trust me to tell their stories.

I don’t enjoy talking or writing about myself; I like my photographs to do that for me. Yet I know it is helpful for those reviewing my body of work to know a little about me and how I approach my profession. The photo I’ve elected to include of me is from my first visit to Poland at the age of 10. My Ciocia Nusia bought me my first camera, igniting a curiosity that has matured over time and experience but remains the cornerstone of my approach to my work. Photography has provided me with the opportunity to work with subjects and attend events that I would otherwise have missed, thereby enriching my professional and personal lives. I love the creative side of photography and each year complete independent photographic projects so I continue to learn and never become complacent. My goal is to help such organizations develop their voice. When working with clients, I firmly believe collaboration is important to ensure the product is of the highest quality, meets the clients’ needs and desires, and is delivered in a timely manner. No matter what size a project is, I pride myself in doing whatever it takes to get a great product. My clients range from Loyola Hospital, BusinessWeek, DDB, Supercuts, Northwestern University, Forbes, Follett of Higher Learning, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, BlackWell Consulting, First Health, Harley Davidson, GTCR, Simple Truth, Allstate and Apple, Inc.

I love creating narratives through photographs — about people, moments, businesses, the creative process — everything really. There's always a story.
My focus is fashion, portrait, and lifestyle photography. My personal work has focused on street photography. I love the hunt for the moment, the delight of the unexpected, and the tableau of the everyday.
I'm a self-taught photographer and former lawyer. I've also freelanced as a writer for several New York newspapers.
I live in New York City with my husband and two daughters.
My work revolves around food culture and the role it plays in people’s lives. Beautiful plates are always nice, but learning what it took to get there is what really interests me. I love shooting food, working with cooks, and being part of the Atlanta restaurant scene and food community. In addition, I photograph portraits, musicians, spaces, and other creative work.
I’ve been lucky enough to work with lots of great restaurants, chefs, architects, and designers all over the country, as well as publications like Esquire, Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, People, Atlanta, Garden & Gun, and The Wall Street Journal. I live in Atlanta with my wife, Kate, and our daughters, Alice and Jane.

Commercial Photographer and Cinematographer: Jamie Orillion, a husband, and father, shoots digital for work and film for passion. As a graphic artist, he was always in need of better images than what was being provided by his clients. Thinking “how hard can it be” he purchased his first digital camera and a lighting kit and started shooting. Through constant testing, trial and error, along with a strong determination, Jamie was naturally directed to moving from a graphic design studio to the photography business that you see today. Fueled by quality, Jamie constantly strives for the highest quality work in both personal and professional projects.
I'm fun and easygoing. I love being on a good set with great people. Let's be serious, but not take ourselves too seriously. Let's create!
Here's the deal:
Married my high school sweetheart;
I have 6 kids;
I love coffee;
Sushi is always a good option;
Old enough to know life before digital;
I once played rugby in college and had no idea what I was doing;
I can't remember if rugby was before or after a pink mohawk;
Relationships over resources;
Pictures are cool but people's stories are cooler;
I love what I do;
Specifics are important but I just want to shoot;
Currently based in Lisbon, Portugal and raised on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, I’ve always had a strong desire to see the world. Having the opportunity to accompany my family on various trips, I was able to appreciate the ways in which people live. These experiences inspired and developed my fascination to seek out diverse cultures.
After a year of traveling in Australia 2016, I loaded up my camera gear and set out on a trip around the world. This trip originally inspired me to pursue photography and cinematography as a career. Six years and 45 + countries later, I look back and am grateful for my experiences.
Documenting my travel allows me to capture moments that I can relive at another time. Through the medium of culture, nature, and adventure, my goal is to tell stories that inspire others. While working with brands I carry on these same values. My mission is to tell their story in a way that captivates their audience and creates action.

I might start this with:
“Andy Cannon is a people-focused lifestyle and adventure, commercial photographer.”
I say that I combining brands, people and stunning natural landscapes to create imagery that resonates and has an emotional impact on the viewer.
Through grewing up travelling, and later working as an expedition leader, I had the opportunity to visit and work in many remote, challenging and beautiful locations where I met people and learnt to connect with them through visual magic and gestures and laughter. Doing so helped me develop an understanding for human emotion, authenticity and story that I take with me as visual story teller.
When we work together, I look forward to blending our creativity and connection to take your brand, your story, your idea and create something breath-taking. I’ve put together several small teams and utilising make-up artists, hair stylists, models, stylists, videographers and underwater photographers, so if you’ve got something big in mind drop me a message.
I live between Tenerife and Barcelona, but will follow a great idea anywhere.
It all starts with my grandfather, a Cuban publicist.
From my childhood, I began my journey through the world of the visual; photo after photo, logo after logo, I had my first approaches with the textures, shapes and colors that define my work today.
In my youth, while studying BANG Advertising! I discovered cameras and photography and decided to dedicate life and senses to them.
I traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina and studied photography. I then worked in the United States as an assistant to different photographers, expanding my technical skills and my vision, in a mixture of experience, passion, knowledge and the definition of my own style.
I work as a photographer for music bands, magazine publishers and advertising campaigns, always reflecting my personal style and a special interest in highlighting the details, trying to see beyond what a single image reflects.
