I’m not a struggling musician [anymore]. But I did start my career photographing musicians and other creative and talented people. And since Creative and Talented People = Interesting Story, that makes my work easy—most of the time. Today my editorial and advertising clients still want the interesting story. I just tell it through my lens in a contemporary natural way. Real life moments, just … better. That’s what I do.

Alex grew up in a dive bar in Minnetonka, MN, owned by his father and a partner. In the beginning, his mom worked there as a bouncer and Alex had many jobs there including janitor, dishwasher, busboy and a short-lived stint waiting tables. The bar was sold and demolished when he was 18, but in its short, glorious existence, it was both a magical and challenging place that gave Alex an appreciation for the wide spectrum of life.
His experience in photography began as an assistant in Minneapolis, MN before starting a 16-year journey as a photojournalist, digging into the world around him while working for news organizations in Iowa, Florida and North Carolina. He now creates portraiture and lifestyle photography for a variety of editorial and commercial clients while paying special attention to people and their spirit.
He currently lives in Durham, North Carolina with his wife Kallyn (a former photojournalist turned doula and documentary family photographer), their dog Caya, nine chickens and a bunch of outdoor neighborhood cats that he tries to make friends with.
He was an attendee of the Eddie Adams Workshop and his work has been recognized by American Photography, PDN Faces, POYi and other organizations.

I'm a commercial and editorial photographer based in Philadelphia and ready to travel anywhere. What does that mean, exactly? I work with anyone who has a story to tell about their brand and recognizes the value of images to accomplish that. I work with small non-profits and large pharmaceutical companies alike, always with the goal of conveying emotion and authenticity by connecting with the people I photograph. I'd like to think that the greatest skill I bring to a photo shoot has nothing to do with cameras or lighting, it's empathy and respect for the people who trust me to tell their stories.

By navigating a path between adventure and humanity, I tell stories of people on personal journeys that feel important.
I am based in Boulder, CO, but often on the road living and running out of my mini-van. I’ve driven to borders, both North and South. I’ve paddled from source to sea, and traveled coast to coast. I run high peaks and swim in valleys. I visit cities, deserts and people that I miss. I believe that it is between big canyon walls, in murky water, and on long narrow trails where strangers become the closest friends.
Combining my education in Integrated Marketing Communications with my creative eye and ear, I work with brands to tell meaningful stories in strategic ways.
I’m an outdoor lifestyle photographer, a father (two kids, a dog, and two cats!), husband, outdoor explorer, and adventurer. It all keeps me pretty busy. Sometimes I’m asked what I do in my spare time. Spare time??! But in reality, when I do get free time, I’m usually taking photos. I feel incredibly fortunate to have my passion as my career.
Michael Wilson is a naturally curious human being. That curiosity has led him to meet some of the most fascinating people from all walks of life and enjoys some of the most unique experiences of his life. So much of photography is simply problem-solving, and solving problems is what Michael does best. Whether it’s figuring out the best way to approach an editorial story to provide comprehensive storytelling imagery or working directly with clients to make sure images fully encompass everybody’s vision. Ultimately at the end of the day Michael’s hope is to make interesting and compelling images that make viewers pause, even if just for a second longer, in this ever-changing fast paced world of media consumption.

Eli Meir Kaplan is a commercial photographer and director who became interested in visual media after his parents brought home an early black and white video camera when he was four years-old. Eli's first of many videos on the camera was a stop-motion battle between He-Man and Skeletor. A Batman and Robin caper soon followed.
Eli’s longstanding interest in visual storytelling and meeting people from different backgrounds led him to documentary photography. He draws from that experience to capture genuine, aspirational, and intimate moments in the commercial photography and video production he does today.

I’m a lifestyle & advertising photographer / director based in Oakland, California.
Originally from the UK, I spent 12 years in London before relocating to the
West Coast. I shoot and direct stills and video for brand libraries, brand
storytelling and advertising in the USA, Europe and beyond.
Currently based in Lisbon, Portugal and raised on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, I’ve always had a strong desire to see the world. Having the opportunity to accompany my family on various trips, I was able to appreciate the ways in which people live. These experiences inspired and developed my fascination to seek out diverse cultures.
After a year of traveling in Australia 2016, I loaded up my camera gear and set out on a trip around the world. This trip originally inspired me to pursue photography and cinematography as a career. Six years and 45 + countries later, I look back and am grateful for my experiences.
Documenting my travel allows me to capture moments that I can relive at another time. Through the medium of culture, nature, and adventure, my goal is to tell stories that inspire others. While working with brands I carry on these same values. My mission is to tell their story in a way that captivates their audience and creates action.
