Jasmine Anwer

Jasmine Anwer is an architectural and commercial photographer based in Dallas, Texas. She studied visual communications and photography at Texas A&M University – Commerce. Her work seeks to explore peoples’ relationship with the spaces and structures around them, and how these interactions come to shape and define people's’ lives. While focusing, in both commercial and residential architecture, she also photographs food and products. Available for travel world wide.

Jeff Wilson

At the Texas House of Representatives he worked on an ongoing documentary project photographing lawmakers during the legislative session. He soon amassed a brilliant catalog of images that were created on a work-for-hire basis and can never be published by him for money. This marked the last time he would ever be paid to shoot 35mm available light with nothing but a Leica and a bag of Tri-X. At the Texas Department of Public Safety he traveled the state for six years as a Forensic Photographer. There he amassed a brilliant catalog of images he would rather not think too hard about. His work with blood spatter patterns has been called "adequate" by several DNA and Trace Evidence analysts. He subsequently worked for renowned photographer Dan Winters, who put him to work as his assistant for several years. Sequestered in Driftwood, Texas, under Winters' tutelage, Jeff developed his photographic skills, a strong work ethic and a penchant for Red Wings.

Phil Kline

As a child, Phil was always exploring with friends, running through backyards, hopping fences, and riding bikes all over Kansas City. The only thing missing was a camera. Studying film at Columbia College Chicago, he became awakened by the craft of visual story telling. The creative experience reminded him of youthful play. An internship with Dennis Manarchy showed him the fast paced world of commercial film production. Eager for more experience, he moved to NYC where received an MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts. He then began shooting food, most notably for the New York Times. Next was Austin, where he assisted and traveled with the brilliant Dan Winters, a fortunate experience which prepared him with the necessary tools to explore the craft of photography. Phil Kline is now a commercial and editorial photographer who shoots portraits and still life. Conceptual humor is not only seen in the work but also displayed in his on set spirit. He’s just fun to work with!

Kris D’Amico, Nick Bumgardner (Reactor Media)

Reactor Media is a modern content creation studio that has a focus on helping companies bring products to market. Our principals are Nick Bumgardner and Kris D’Amico. Nick is a 10+ year vet of the photo industry with a skill set that runs from highly efficient e-commerce sets to fast thinking location advertising capture. Kris D’Amico has been shooting commercially since the late 90’s. He’s done everything from capturing training videos for an international audience to acting as an embedded journalist for the National Guard. Together we continue to produce, shoot and direct productions for some of the largest brands in the world. Based in Middle Tennessee, we bring together a diverse group of creatives that allow for a broad range of skills to cover many needs. Founded originally in 2000, we have recently brought on offerings in the CGI and aerial capture world as we continue expanding capabilities.

William DeShazer

I first started out as a photojournalist so storytelling is in my DNA. With over 12 years experience working in editorial photography I took that knowledge to commercial photography. The goal of any good photo is to draw in a viewer and make a connection. Today, we are overwhelmed with visuals coming at us from phones, computers, televisions, billboards, you name it. So in order to make a statement, images need to resonate with your audience. I pride myself in telling brand narrative stories that bring the viewer in to create an interconnection and showcase an experience. This is my passion. While based in Nashville, TN I've lived all over the United States and experienced the diversity of America. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I grew up in Louisville, KY and it will always be my home. Because of that I'm partial to bourbon, horses, and baseball bats. Kris Cheng

A California native living in NYC, Kris has shot for brands like Nike, Apple, and Google, as well as a number of foundations and nonprofits, in over a dozen countries across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. A product of the Stanford d.school, his work is tied together by the common thread of empathy, spanning visual media & storytelling, consumer products, and international development over the past 10 years. He draws frequently from his interdisciplinary background in his commercial and documentary work, and he strives to create the most striking and meaningful imagery possible with those around him.

Rick Souders

Rick Souders is an honors graduate from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Rick's unique creative and business background has allowed him to work at a Fortune 250 Beverage Company, then to one of the largest Advertising Agencies in the US, to owning one of America’s top food and beverage Studios. In his own words: I grew up in the rural high plains near the Pawnee National Grasslands. Yes, very rural. My mom worked at a portrait studio and my dad, amongst many things, was a professional leather artist and taught leather craft. So, I lived in a very creative and inspiring atmosphere. Growing up in a small town allowed me to raise chickens, rabbits, and pheasants and have many pets including toads, tarantulas, possums and a raccoon. My passion for food and agriculture runs deep. I appreciate where our food comes from and I think that has played an important role in my love of food and beverage photography. Today I live on the Studio property in a beautiful environmentally friendly ranch home. Other quirky things include a degree in Taxidermy and my 1967 Bentley.

Corey Critser, Emily Critser (Corey + Emily)

We like to have a good ol’ time. We fell in love on set working together in 2009 and have honed our working relationship since then. Nowadays, Corey is the main shooter and directs the technical crew and lighting while Emily is the grand communicator directing talent, narrowing in on styling, and acting as the link between the vision and making it reality. Our passion for the craft fuels creating the best experience with the highest quality results for every project we collaborate on.

Julia Vandenoever

Julia Vandenoever is a freelance photographer based in Boulder, Colorado. She grew up in Chappaqua, NY and Norwich, Vermont. During her years at Smith College, Julia studied Art History and Photography. In addition, she attended the SALT Center for Documentary studies as well as SEA Semester. Photography led Julia to freelance at the Valley News, work with Wendy Ewald’s Literacy Through Photography program, and an 11 year Photo Editor career at Backpacker, Skiing, and Outside magazine. At the beginning of Julia’s career, she was invited to the Eddie Adams Workshop. She has participated in many group exhibitions as well as a solo exhibit of my work, Hidden Folds, at the Boulder Creative Collective. She was awarded a Community Supported Grant to create an artist book on the 2012 Boulder Flood. Julia has been honored to receive a couple of grants and served as a visiting artist at Guttman College in New York, New York. In 2021, Still Breathing, received a solo show at the Center for Photography at Woodstock as well as a Critical Mass Top 200 Finalist. Recently, she was an artist-in-residence at the Boulder Creative Collective where she had a solo exhibition of her work, While I Wait. Her first monograph, Still Breathing, was published by Gray Sky Press in 2022. Still Breathing was recently acquired by Smith College Rare Books.

Dean Lavenson

At Dean Lavenson Photography, Dean brings an utter passion to the set. He is a master with light and an absolute perfectionist. He is as giddy about photography today as when he was a student. And with that passion comes with over 25 years of experience. After graduating from Brooks Institute of Photography and freelancing in L.A. for a few years, Dean relocated his family from Santa Barbara, California to Louisville in 1989. He’s still trying to figure out how that happened. All he remembers is a big yellow Ryder truck with a matching yellow ’73 VW Bug in tow and his wife, Dianne, crying across every state line. Dean still dreams about the beach, but over the years he’s grown to love Louisville. As for how Dean first got started with a camera? Now that’s a long story. Let’s just say, he was on his way to becoming the next Wynton Marsellis. Lucky for Mr. Marsellis, Dean ended up in Beginning Photography as a high school senior. Ask him in person and he’ll give you the looooong version.

Morgan Ione

Combining my own attributes and technical skills, I help brands tell their distinct narrative, establish their visual identity, and create memorable content for all usage and platforms. My clients span commercial, editorial, restaurant, boutique hospitality, travel, luxury residential, publishing, B2B, B2C, D2C, and startup brands. I earned my degree in Journalism from Boston University, and Editorial and Advertising Honors from The New England School Of Photography. I have an extended network of producers, video crews, food stylists, prop stylists, studios, creative directors, and graphic designers that help to make every shoot a perfect success. While currently growing roots in Chicago, I also have a strong client base in New York City where I spent the first ten years of my career and established myself in the creative community.

Mo Fritz

Momoko Fritz is a Chicago based food, product and lifestyle photographer. She is inspired by things that make her laugh or cry, colors, cultures, design and things that taste delicious. Momoko runs two photography businesses and hosts a supper club called Cowgirl Banquet. She and her husband have three boys and a dog named Nacho. She has worked on projects with Del Monte, Kashi, Pringles, Cheez it, Soho House Chicago, Lala, Jayson Home, Solo Stove, Promised Land to name a few.

Aaron Conway

I was born and raised in the Midwest, and my passion for the arts began to emerge in high school. I quickly discovered my love for creating something entirely my own. In college, I started studying three-dimensional art while also being interested in video, sound, and photography. I started to explore how all these elements could be used in a single piece. This led me to start building cameras and to understand what it means to be a photographer. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and working nationally. Cincinnati has a thriving community of creatives and unique and inspiring locations, one of the many reasons I decided to open my studio here. I am proud to live and work and bring new clients to my city and our community! A passionate creative, talker, husband, cyclist, outdoors enthusiast, and dog lover. Cameron is an editorial and commercial photographer based in the South Eastern U.S. She enjoys shooting food, travel, lifestyle/branding images, interiors, and products. Her work is inspired by the art of food combined with her love of travel, which allows her to tell a story in a natural and authentic way. Cameron loves creative collaboration with clients to showcase their food, art, products, and brands through photography in a way that brings a unique vision to life. CJ Foeckler

Hi! I’m CJ, a commercial and editorial photographer and retoucher located in Milwaukee, WI, but serving clients all over the country. In a past life, I spent nearly 20 years as an art director in the advertising and marketing world – shaping how I view photography, its purpose, and working with a team to meet specific goals. I enjoy working with clients that are willing to push their visuals to the next level and are open to experimenting together. I like to work with all kinds of light and creative processes to constantly push my photography. I’ve learned a lot over the years by building assets to match current campaigns for countless clients. This has taught me how to be a bit of a chameleon in my process and also helped me to hone in on my own definitive style. I love moody lighting that isn’t overdone – every highlight and shadow is very intentional and I tend to pay attention to all the details that most don’t. I’m a bit of a perfectionist. If Chad’s photography had a trait it would probably be labeled optimistic. Chad looks to capture the beautiful, the good in the world around us, and the people in it. It could be a pleasant smile, time shared between friends, the solace of a place. “I am a photographer because I want to create, share, elevate the production, and collaborate with others who have creative ideas. I photograph because it's my way of telling the story.” Chad continues to create content for national brands as well as many local and editorial clients. He lives in Minneapolis, MN with his wife and 3 children.
