October’s analytics show a continuation of a number of trends, including both traffic and performance with most metrics very close to their historical levels. Total users saw a slight decrease with 13,032 (compared with 13,384 last year) and 18,326 sessions (18,517 last year). However, the number of users who visited our site for the first time experienced a slight increase from 11,966 in 2017 to 12,030 this month.
Similarly to last month, the top five countries of the United States, the United Kingdom, India, the Philippines, and Canada remained the same, with the U.K. pulling ahead to regain a #2 spot with 5.21% of visitors. Noticeably, acquisition reports are becoming more international when compared to numbers from last year, with the United States now representing less than 50% of total traffic, compared to 60.98% in 2017.
Photographer profile views were down to 15,459 from 17,093 last year. However, this is substantially higher than last month’s performance of 13,288 views, likely due to the way things tend to pick back up as summer comes to a close. Clickthroughs are similarly down to 6,357 vs 6,761 last year, although this does represent a small increase in profile clickthrough rate (41.1% this period vs. 39.5% last period). This puts us at an average of 9.78 clicks per photographer.
