March was a month of madness, with Julia Hanley coming out on top in our office NCAA Basketball pool (go Nova!), but that didn’t stop her and the rest of our client outreach team from putting up some good numbers of their own.
Julia’s main focus is brand outreach, but she also started researching media planning & buying agencies. In case you’re not aware, some companies specialize in helping ad agencies and brands figure out where to place their content to reach the right audience. These companies are interesting to us because while they don’t usually hire photographers or production companies directly, they are sometimes in a position to recommend content producers to their clients. Julia made 255 outreach attempts, connecting with 24 of those, and adding 56 new prospects.
Matt continued his outreach to New York City in March and made 93 attempts that yielded 7 connections. He connected with Social Media and Content Manager from Sopexa in February to let her know about our services. A Sopexa client needed a photographer for a social media campaign and Katie reached out last month to see if we could help. Matt provided some photographer recommendations and worked with Katie to check on their availability and interest. It all paid off, with the agency hiring a photographer on our roster for a shoot in early May.
This month, Claire outreached to 178 agency prospects around the world, making 18 connections. One particular connection was with the senior art director at Jump. The agency works on a lot of automotive racing events and often struggles to find photographers. Claire gave him a tour of our directory and he was thrilled to learn about the tool and our services, certain they’d come in handy in the future.
