This December during the holiday season, Wonderful Machine received two stock requests from Der Spiegel Magazine. Both were unmanaged stock requests (meaning the photographer negotiated usage of the images on their own) for one-time publication use.
Philadelphia sports/fitness photographer Steve Boyle asked us to curate two galleries on his website for recent campaigns with Herbalife and an Esports gaming team. Working with photo editor Andrew Souders, the edit balances these vastly different projects with the others in his portfolio.
With the thrill and excitement of Halloween fresh on our minds, our stock requests in October were as fruitful as a child’s trick or treat basket. Wonderful Machine received five stock requests during the spookiest month of the year — four unmanaged and one managed.
Wonderful Machine received two stock requests during the first month of the golden autumn season. One came in from GEO Magazine, France and the second from Travel + Leisure.
As summer nears an end, our stock requests centered around travel and lifestyle imagery. We received two requests in August — AAA Westways Magazine was seeking photos of the French countryside and the American Cancer Society inquired about lifestyle images of women over age 40.
July was a summer month with a high heat index and a rise in stock requests at Wonderful Machine. Elliman Magazine, Amica Magazine, AARP and AT&T all submitted requests this month.
