In spite of August being peak vacation time, Wonderful Machine was able to get a great meeting with Evoke Health in downtown Philadelphia. Executive Producer Craig Oppenheimer and I made an afternoon trip to the offices of Evoke Health to meet with their Creative Director, Art Director and a number of designers and copywriters.
This July, Wonderful Machine scheduled portfolio events at Ready Set Rocket and the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team. We had a great opportunity to showcase some of our lifestyle, food & drink, motion, portraiture, and sports & fitness photographers.
This February, Wonderful Machine scheduled portfolio events at listicle king Buzzfeed and the agency MBLM. Both clients gave us a great opportunity to show off some of our corporate, education, industrial, and reportage photographers.
We decided to change our focus for meetings for the month of September and switched our efforts to the Philadelphia area and met with the creative agency Aloysius Butler & Clark (AB+C Creative Intelligence) and John Milner Architects to relay all of the ways that Wonderful Machine can fulfill their photography needs.
Portfolio Events were tough to come by in August, but we were able to lock down a meeting with the Director of Photography at AMC and Sundance television networks. Christine Ramage and her team were already aware of Wonderful Machine but, as we often find, she wasn’t aware of everything that we do.
