Rebecca Stumpf is a full-time American editorial photographer specializing in travel, portraiture and documentary photography. Her passion in telling visual stories lies in understanding the connection between humans and nature – how they are inspired by it; how they work with it; how they connect with it; how they experience it – and the creative space that falls between the two. She got her Master's in Photojournalism and a Master's in Intercultural Youth and Family Development in Missoula, Montana, before heading to the Peace Corps in Costa Rica. She has partnered with schools, art centers, and museums to share her love of the lens with children and adults, and spent five summers teaching with National Geographic Student Expeditions, which was one of her most favorite things! She’s also obsessed with dogs and growing food.
Of course, a biography of John would open with the usuals: the twin lens camera gifted to a boy by his father, high-school darkrooms, the MFA studies in NYC. Years of assisting industry giants and then the slow and steady growth to a satisfying career. But what that bio wouldn’t capture is what John views as the very best part of his work– that each project is an opportunity to connect with a person or idea at the deepest level. John’s real talent (and some say his superpower) is his ability to perceive his subjects’ inner character and then reveal it in his images. In this way, John’s work helps tell stories that are deep, meaningful and resonant.

As a producer and storyteller, I develop content to boost your integrated marketing strategies through multiple distribution platforms. My focus is editorial still photography, product marketing video and still imagery, narrative short films, social media-optimized videos and commercial advertising spots. I excel at highlighting local voices — real people — to deepen connections between people, place, cultures, and shared experiences through beautifully-crafted visual storytelling. The key to differentiated storytelling is cultivating strong relationships. Connecting brands to members in the community (not actors or models) opens the door to respect, care, trust and authenticity. In every project, I build strong relationships between the client, hired creatives and communities. For the past 16 years I have been immersed in travel and outdoor photo and video production. The last 7 years were dedicated to leading award-winning content creation for the Utah Office of Tourism with a passionate focus on sharing stories of responsible tourism and brand campaign work. Working in an industry of calculated risk has motivated me to broaden the message of being a well-prepared traveler and member of the community, and I am currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Salt Lake County Search and Rescue Organization. In all projects, I excel at delivering thoughtful and inclusive messaging through inspirational, in-depth, and diverse storytelling. Let’s work together. I’ll bring the snacks.
EVERYONE HAS A STORY TO TELL. And being a storyteller at heart, Eric has an eye for crafting visual narratives with authenticity, emotion, and a sense of place. Along side his distinctive food, beverage, and lifestyle work, Eric is adept at capturing the essentials of a well-rounded travel or brand story such as portraiture, interiors, and landscape photography. And with an affinity for working on location, he's as comfortable photographing cowboys at dawn on a Texas ranch or donning a wetsuit to capture commercial fishery action, as he is shooting beautifully plated food in an upscale restaurant. Additionally, his 20+ year background in branding, graphic design and web development help him visualize the end result of a photoshoot, as well as develop the story flow and shot list. Eric is based in the Texas Hill Country, near Austin and San Antonio and is available for travel across the state and beyond.
Hello, I’m Jamey Guy. I’ve been a lifestyle and portrait photographer for more than twenty years. I was raised by a family of artists—painters, sculptors and illustrators—my grandfather was the first to introduce me to photography. I like playing music, and I’m even in the Guinness Book of World Records under the largest banjo ensemble ever. I love driving gravel roads and photographing farming. Most importantly, I’m passionate about great photography and great clients. I’ve been happy to combine the two for brands like Coca-Cola, Levis, Target, General Mills and AARP, to name a few. I’d love to add you to the list.
For over 30 years Joe has teamed with clients and directed productions large and small, to create dynamic images for American corporations in his studio, and on location around the globe. Laying in a mudpit beneath 11-ton excavators, suspended inches above the highway at 70mph, hanging from helicopters or pausing NY traffic on the Manhattan Bridge, to capture a line of client trucks from a nearby skyscraper. Joe's passion for solving problems and creating great images is what gets him up every day, literally.

For the last 20+ years I've been shooting large-scale production advertising photography projects. And 15+ years doing editorial stories, features & covers – photographing celebrities, politicians, CEOS, athletes as well as real people. I have extensive experience working on Defense/Industrial, Finance, Healthcare, Insurance Pharmaceutical, Recruiting and Travel/Tourism advertising accounts, as well as other sectors.

I wish I could say I have tasted every dish I shot. People may not agree on politics, taxes or even the weather, but we surely drop our differences and come together over food. Time spent at the table with others is one of the best ways to get to know them. Photography is much the same. Spending most of my fifteen year career as a magazine art director and photographer, I have worked with a wide variety of subjects from senators and beauty queens to chefs and turkeys. I enjoy the time with the personalities I photograph and the gratifying part is hearing their story and capturing the moment in time. My work has been recognized in the creative industry’s leading publications: Art Director’s Club of New York Annual, the Communication Arts Design Annual, and SPOTS competition. I often use older film cameras including an 11×14 ultra large format Burke & James, 8×10 and 4×5 pinhole cameras, and a beautiful Pentax 67. My recent favorite is a 1960’s era Polaroid Land camera converted into a 4×5 rangefinder. I live, work and play in Richmond, Virginia with my lovely and very understanding wife, two daughters and son.
I’m a lifestyle & advertising photographer / director based in Oakland, California. Originally from the UK, I spent 12 years in London before relocating to the West Coast. I shoot and direct stills and video for brand libraries, brand storytelling and advertising in the USA, Europe and beyond.
My name is Greg. I grew up in the South. I never say no to black coffee and chess pie. I know a little bit about a lot of stuff. Like how to tie a bowline, when to prune a rose bush and what makes a tasty rub. I like to pan-fry, sautee, bake, roast and grill whatever I can get my hands on. I married a woman who likes fast cars. Together, we have a couple of kids, a couple of dogs and a trailerful of outdoor gear that is mostly mine. I love my job because I get to meet people from all walks of life. I’ve photographed truck drivers, crabbers, mariachi and linemen. Robot makers, whiskey makers, fridge makers and nut pickers. Professional wrestlers, UN ambassadors, hall-of-famers and polka enthusiasts. Surgeons, CEOs, Air Force One pilots and brewers. Every person I frame up with my camera gives me a little more insight and a broader understanding of what it means to be a person living a life on this planet. Whether I'm telling the stories of real people or working with casting agents to gather the group you like, you can bet I’ll connect with whomever we have on the other side of my camera. Gimme a call and let’s go make some pictures!
Michael Toolan’s body of work represents his deep experience in both commercial and editorial worlds, and his photographs have been published and exhibited internationally. Through years of creating photographs for a variety of clients, Michael has defined the value he brings to each assignment: “I always tell a story. I’m principally a documentary photographer, and strive to produce graphically striking images, blending serendipitous moments with rich colour. I’m eager to find the message my clients seek to share. I look for the point that my aesthetic and a client’s needs intersect, and direct my work in accord with that intersection. I value teamwork and collaboration, strengthened by clear and focused communication, which I regard as key to success in all assignments.”
I'm an on-location photographer and director. My aesthetic approach is driven by real, textural, compelling moments, whether shooting stills or motion. Partial list of clients and project partners include: ebay, Mississippi Tourism, Marley Coffee, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, AMD, Deutsche Bank, Intel, Nike, AMEX, American Airlines, GE, Disney World, Time Warner, Time Magazine, Sports Illustrated, J. Walter Thomas, People Magazine, AG Edwards, CDW, Y & R, Fleishman-Hillard, McCann-Erickson, FutureBrand and more. I have had the unique privilege of having one of my images selected for a USPS First-Class Forever stamp. I have 2 published books: Hidden History of Mississippi Blues (History Press) and Mississippi Juke Joint Confidential: House Parties, Hustlers & the Blues Life (Arcadia Publishing).
I’m a lifestyle and portrait photographer from Italy, currently residing in Los Angeles. As a young boy I had a colorful vintage 1960s map of the United States above my bed. Each main region was represented with a little sketch or figure, very detailed, and I had dreams that one day I was going to be there and discover all those places myself. My passion for visual arts encouraged me to study graphic design and work as web designer in Italy. The opportunity became reality in 2002 when I moved from Italy and my journey started in San Francisco. In few years I ended up in various circumstances in the city of Angeles. The multicultural environment, the vibrant lifestyle and the excitement for embracing this new adventure of life has been my motivation for taking photographs. A passion I cultivated since I was a young teenager and has transformed my life and career. After lot of training and experience, I consider myself very fortunate.
I didn’t plan to be a photographer when I was a kid – I thought I’d be a veterinarian, an ad man on Madison Ave (hello, Don Draper!), or an astronaut. You know, the usual. But, I picked up a camera while in the army, and the rest, as they say, is history. My photography resume is long and diverse – at different times, I have been a conflict, newspaper, sports, lifestyle, fashion, portrait, feature and food photographer. I have lived and worked in NYC, LA, Miami, DC, Phoenix, Harrisburg, PA, and for the last 11 years, Charlotte. All of these locations and experiences through my career have shaped my perspective. I capture real moments, tell rich stories, and make people and products look great for brands, magazines and ad agencies. My work is real, relatable, honest and authentic. Whether everyday people or hired talent, I have a natural ability to make people comfortable in front of my lens. We have fun on my shoots, I don’t yell, and, on the best days, we eat NC BBQ. I live with my wife and 3 rescue dogs on an acre within the Charlotte city limits that we bought (mostly) for the dogs. When not out shooting, you can usually find me working on personal projects, or exploring a new hobby, or fly fishing for anything that swims. Some fun facts about me below – the rest you need to learn for yourself. So, let’s work together! • I drink a LOT of iced tea and there will always be some on set • I was a Paratrooper in the US Army and have over 75 jumps • I have seen every episode of Law and Order (go head, challenge me!) • I will travel almost anywhere, anytime to eat BBQ • Every fish I catch is released alive to live another day • I have counted over 25 species of birds at our yard feeders • I hiked over 700 miles of the Appalachian Trail in one trip
My relationship with photography dates to elementary school when my family moved into a house with a darkroom. I spent most of my childhood there. In junior high I happed upon Cheryl Tiegs modeling for a shoot in Washington Square. I poached some frames. The pics scored me the job of photo editor of our high school newspaper. This was my big break because my then-classmate Jimmy Hirsch went on to be a staff writer for the New York Times. He somehow talked them into giving me an actual assignment. It went well and they gave me a couple more. It was official. I could legitimately say I shot for the New York Times. That was 1986. A couple thousand assignments later, I have begrudgingly lived through the transition from film to digital. As a reprieve, I have adopted a forgotten photographic process, the photogravure, and am diving deeply into its preservation. My wife, Hilary, whose patience, maturity and wisdom netted us three now-grown children is so supportive of my photogravure obsession that even when she can’t sleep, she asks about it…
My work revolves around food culture and the role it plays in people’s lives. Beautiful plates are always nice, but learning what it took to get there is what really interests me. I love shooting food, working with cooks, and being part of the Atlanta restaurant scene and food community. In addition, I photograph portraits, musicians, spaces, and other creative work. I’ve been lucky enough to work with lots of great restaurants, chefs, architects, and designers all over the country, as well as publications like Esquire, Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, People, Atlanta, Garden & Gun, and The Wall Street Journal. I live in Atlanta with my wife, Kate, and our daughters, Alice and Jane.
Sara Rubinstein is a commercial director and still photographer based in Minneapolis, MN. Her work combines elements of authenticity, emotional range, beauty and candor. Sara graduated from Carleton College in 1998 with a degree in Biology and a minor in German. It took a 6 month stint as a computer programmer before Sara found photography, starting off as a photo assistant until transitioning to full time shooting in 2002. Over 20 years as a still photographer led to directing motion pieces focusing on authentic emotion and story. Sara believes personal work inspires both her humanity and her commercial endeavors. Her passions include photography, riding horses, travel to remote landscapes, camping with her family in their VW Campervan, and she hopes to one day publish a collection of short stories.
Gabriella Marks is a San Franciscan expat music shooter turned chef-and-farmer groupie. She arrived in New Mexico on pure intuition, but knows why she stays: the spectacular high desert light, the lenticular clouds, and the humbling experience of urging a single squash plant from the dry clay soil and ancient pueblo pottery shards in the garden. Her respect for, and relationships with, the farmers and chefs in the region grows daily. A recognized name in the regional food world, Gabriella has been expanding her horizons to encompass lifestyle and portrait work in the Southwest and beyond. She's driven to discover in every single shot an opportunity to frame moments and light in harmonious and striking detail. Perhaps the most single most powerful thing she has learned is how essential good listening – to the client, to the subject, to the environment – is crucial to creating and capturing the right image. Gabriella lives just a touch north of Santa Fe out in the wilds of Pojoaque with one very short and rather long chiweenie, and an opinionated flock of little feathered dinosaurs, commonly known as garden variety backyard chickens. Gabriella is currently serving as the President of the New Mexico chapter of ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers).
Since my early years working as a photojournalist, I’ve believed in the storytelling power of photography. My images connect as well as communicate. I’m all about fostering an authentic connection: between me and my subject, and between the viewer and the image. Supporting my clients and their brands while telling unique visual stories of diverse bodies, ethnicities, genders and ages, in beautiful settings is the work I’m honored to do. I specialize in creating original and eye-catching fashion lifestyle imagery – the kinds of images that make you pause for a moment and appreciate. With a deep knowledge and connection to the wool industry, knitting and the fiber arts, I photograph people and products all the way from sheep farms to dye studios to fashion models in knits.
Hello, and thank you for visiting! I work locally to San Francisco and Los Angeles, and home has always been Napa Valley, California. When I’m not photographing, I’m hanging out with my son, a wonderful 19-year old who works at a three-Michelin star restaurant, or taking a class towards my wine certification studies. I’ve often been referred to as grace under pressure, having been the photographer for the weddings of Anne Hathaway, Jimmy Kimmel, LeAnn Rimes, Governor of California Gavin Newsom, and the late Robin Williams, among others, as well as the official photographer for Team USA at the Bocuse d'Or (the “culinary olympics”) in Lyon, France biannually. Under the leadership of Chef Thomas Keller we brought home silver one year and gold the next (go team!). After photographing four cookbooks (one of them earning a silver medal in the IPPY cookbook-specialty awards), my lens is focused on culinary, hospitality, lifestyle, portraiture and travel. I’m a visual storyteller, and it’s my nature to tell the most beautiful and meaningful version of a story that I can. Available for commercial, documentary, and editorial assignments (wine country to worldwide), I’d love to creatively collaborate!
Based in the Midwest (Milwaukee/Chicago). Available for travel worldwide, anywhere, anytime. Exploration and curiosity drive my work as an artist and photographer. I specialize in editorial portrait and advertising photography as well as lifestyle, corporate, food, and travel. I have a BFA in painting, and over twenty years of experience as a photographer. Whether I’m one-on-one with a farmer in the orchard or working with a team in the studio, my goal is to bring a unique vision to the project. I aim to collect moments that are part of a larger whole. Inspirations: mountain views, southwest desert air, finding magic in the ordinary, and getting my hands dirty in a garden. Interests include: cheese (all dairy products in general), plant hoarding, postcard collecting, reading magazines, and and giving belly rubs to my blue heelers.
