I could tell you that I was only 7 years old when I got my first camera and that my parents are super artsy fartsy – or I could tell you the truth. The truth is that I didn’t really get into photography until I was 25 – I lived in Malaysia at that time and was lucky to get a good deal on my first DSLR camera. It took me another year and a trip to South America to realize that photography suits me better than a suit. All this in mind I decided to chuck my plans for a business masters overboard and traded that grey office desk in for a camera. These days I'm doing what I would’ve been doing a lot earlier if I got this camera when I was 7. I snap photos and make films.
Lucy Hewett is a portrait, food and lifestyle photographer. Her work celebrates design, color and the simple pleasures of life and connection. Midwest born and bred, she received degrees in both journalism and art from the University of Missouri and is now based in Chicago. Lucy makes photos of people and food and tells stories about art, travel, culture, hospitality, craftsmanship, home and design. Through her photos she aims to connect with subjects, become inspired and experience the joy of creating something collaboratively. She leads each project with kindness and curiosity and a healthy dose of hard work.
Matthew Coughlin is an award-winning commercial and editorial photographer based in the southeast. Convenient to major markets and the rural small towns in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Louisiana, Matthew also travels across the U.S.—as long as there’s coffee and a good sports team to be had. Matthew’s unwavering passion for portraiture coupled with his innate talent and personable nature, have led him to work with many of the world’s most renown brands, agencies, publications and companies, including Nike, Oakley, ESPN and Sports Illustrated.
Originally from Belfast and now based in London, Michael Leckie has extensive experience in portrait and commercial photography. Michael’s ability to put his subject at ease during a shoot and his creative enthusiasm when dealing with clients have seen his reputation within the industry go from strength to strength. Michael has photographed some of the biggest celebrities and people of importance, from Harry Styles to Sir David Attenborough. Michael Also have a passion for Lifestyle photography as Portraiture and this has seen him work with brands like Longines. He continuely gets repeat business from clients and builds strong relationships because of his quality of work and respect for the job at hand as well as being relaxed and fun on shoots.
Nate Ryan is an editorial and commercial photographer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His work is driven by a deep curiosity about the world around him and his desire to learn, and he finds joy in the surprising doors that only a camera can open. For 10 years Nate was the staff photographer for 89.3 The Current at Minnesota Public Radio, where he photographed and filmed some of the nation’s most popular musicians. With a degree in Geology and Studio Art from Carleton College, Nate brings a diverse range of knowledge to his projects. Keeping things easygoing is the goal - Nate specializes in portraying real people in inspiring ways. He loves to infuse advertising projects with the same depth and personality as he does with his documentary photojournalism and portrait work. Otherwise you’ll likely find Nate out on a bike on a trail or road around the Twin Cities.
Based in Vancouver, Noel Hendrickson is an internationally recognized commercial photographer. Known for his ability to spot the 'in-between' moments, Noel captures his subjects true emotions through his unique form of visual storytelling. Noel was born on the prairies where he developed an appreciation for the land, but the ocean is where his heart is. He lives on the mountain in Vancouver with his beautiful wife Christine, son Finn and their two pugs Phil and Allan.
