My relationship with photography dates to elementary school when my family moved into a house with a darkroom. I spent most of my childhood there. In junior high I happed upon Cheryl Tiegs modeling for a shoot in Washington Square. I poached some frames. The pics scored me the job of photo editor of our high school newspaper. This was my big break because my then-classmate Jimmy Hirsch went on to be a staff writer for the New York Times. He somehow talked them into giving me an actual assignment. It went well and they gave me a couple more. It was official. I could legitimately say I shot for the New York Times. That was 1986. A couple thousand assignments later, I have begrudgingly lived through the transition from film to digital. As a reprieve, I have adopted a forgotten photographic process, the photogravure, and am diving deeply into its preservation. My wife, Hilary, whose patience, maturity and wisdom netted us three now-grown children is so supportive of my photogravure obsession that even when she can’t sleep, she asks about it…
True story, I was named by the guy on the side of the Yogi Tea boxes. Regardless of my super cool Indian name, I am, in fact, not Indian at all. I am the grandson of a Minnesotan circus tight-rope walker and the nephew of a Virginian goat farmer. As a young boy, I lived in an ashram in New Mexico and spent my adolescence cleaning boat shops in the Pacific Northwest to afford my bicycle habit while racing cyclo-cross in Europe on the US national cycling team. I came to photography through the fermented horse milk fog of hitchhiking through Mongolia. At the age of twelve I learned that it is called the Pulitzer Prize and not, as I had long held to be true, the Pull It Surprise, which would later save me from many embarrassing moments, considering the grants I have received from the Pull It, I mean, Pulitzer Center. Upon completion of my graduate studies in photography at Syracuse University, I moved to Istanbul, where I spent much of my time trying to mentally will my phone to ring with glamorous and exciting assignments. Yadda yadda yadda now I live in Madison, Wisconsin with my wife and our adorable kitty, Earl Greyscale. Some times I enter awards and sometimes I win some, like American Photography and even an Addy. But to date my crowning achievement has been exhibiting my Lands in Limbo project at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art.
Photography is about telling a story and I've been doing it as a commercial photographer for over twenty years. Whether it be through one frame or a series of images, I love making photographs that speak about the subject. I'm drawn to location choices that complement a subject yet recede enough to allow the subject to dominate the image. Since growing up in Houston, TX in my father's printing company, I've always enjoyed the meticulous nature of my business. From operating an offset press at the age of 15, I learned the importance of quality craftsmanship that has remained an important aspect throughout my life. What I truly love about photography is both the technical and artistic sides. It's the balance of both of these that create interesting images that resonate with the viewer. In this day of digital media and our constant bombardment by visual clutter, it is so important to make imagery that tells its story in an elegant and unique way. Whether it's a single still photograph or a series, I enjoy making images that successfully communicate my client's vision. I live in beautiful Grapevine, TX along with my wife Rebecca and our two kids… Noah (17) and Annalise (15).
I'm an on-location photographer and director. My aesthetic approach is driven by real, textural, compelling moments, whether shooting stills or motion. I have had the unique privilege of having one of my images selected for a USPS First-Class Forever stamp. I have 2 published books: Hidden History of Mississippi Blues (History Press) and Mississippi Juke Joint Confidential: House Parties, Hustlers & the Blues Life (Arcadia Publishing).

I love collaborating with my clients and getting to know them. I do whatever it takes to put my clients at ease by making photography fun, creative and enjoyable. I work closely with my clients to take their project from concept to completion. My photo projects have taken me across the street and around the globe. Working under pressure or in a fast-paced environment comes second nature to me. When I'm not shooting, you can probably find me in my garden, hiking something — somewhere or on my yoga mat. My alter ego to photography is being a 200 RYT at Blue Yoga Nyla in North Little Rock. When I’m not shooting, I’m teaching yoga, or deepening my own practice. Currently based in Little Rock, Arkansas, I have degree in journalism with a photojournalism emphasis. I began my professional photography career at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette where I was a staff photographer for more than 15 years.

For over 30 years Joe has teamed with clients and directed productions large and small, to create dynamic images for American corporations in his studio, and on location around the globe. Laying in a mudpit beneath 11-ton excavators, suspended inches above the highway at 70mph, hanging from helicopters or pausing NY traffic on the Manhattan Bridge, to capture a line of client trucks from a nearby skyscraper. Joe's passion for solving problems and creating great images is what gets him up every day, literally.
Hello, I’m Jamey Guy. I’ve been a lifestyle and portrait photographer for more than twenty years. I was raised by a family of artists—painters, sculptors and illustrators—my grandfather was the first to introduce me to photography. I like playing music, and I’m even in the Guinness Book of World Records under the largest banjo ensemble ever. I love driving gravel roads and photographing farming. Most importantly, I’m passionate about great photography and great clients. I’ve been happy to combine the two for brands like Coca-Cola, Levis, Target, General Mills and AARP, to name a few. I’d love to add you to the list.
Mark was raised in Pennsylvania and Utah. His love of photography began at the age of ten when he saved up enough money to buy a 35mm Pentax. He took it everywhere. However, it wasn’t until part way through his college education at Brigham Young University that he discovered that he could turn his passion into a career. He dropped the chemistry half of his double major to focus on finishing his degree in photography. He loves to travel and has taken his camera to thirty-one countries. Mark, his wife Liz, and their two boys live in New York City where they have baked over 300 pies in their tiny kitchen.
I’m a lifestyle and portrait photographer from Italy, currently residing in Los Angeles. As a young boy I had a colorful vintage 1960s map of the United States above my bed. Each main region was represented with a little sketch or figure, very detailed, and I had dreams that one day I was going to be there and discover all those places myself. My passion for visual arts encouraged me to study graphic design and work as web designer in Italy. The opportunity became reality in 2002 when I moved from Italy and my journey started in San Francisco. In few years I ended up in various circumstances in the city of Angeles. The multicultural environment, the vibrant lifestyle and the excitement for embracing this new adventure of life has been my motivation for taking photographs. A passion I cultivated since I was a young teenager and has transformed my life and career. After lot of training and experience, I consider myself very fortunate.

In nearly two decades in the commercial photography industry, Natalia proves a skillful dedication to the entire photography production process. During college, she kept her nose in the books for her commercial photography degree while working for internationally known photographers from coast-to-coast including Pete Barrett and Jim Erickson. Returning to NC, she worked as an independent retoucher and producer and began work with Jimmy Williams as Studio Manager. As a freelance photographer since 2007, Natalia travels with the lens of a storyteller. In addition to corporate and agency commissions, her immersive photographs have captured the landscapes of Southeast Asia, her own extended family dinner table in Chile, and delicate portraiture of coconut farmers in Panama. When she isn’t packing a suitcase or behind the viewfinder or monitor, Natalia can be found at home in Durham, NC stopping in on classes at Duke’s Center for Documentary Studies, volunteering for environmental and social causes, or joining friends on spontaneous bicycle tours. As a former professional salsa dancer, she occasionally dusts off her heels and hits the pista de baile.
Hello, and thank you for visiting! I work locally to San Francisco and Los Angeles, and home has always been Napa Valley, California. When I’m not photographing, I’m hanging out with my son, a wonderful 19-year old who works at a three-Michelin star restaurant, or taking a class towards my wine certification studies. I’ve often been referred to as grace under pressure, having been the photographer for the weddings of Anne Hathaway, Jimmy Kimmel, LeAnn Rimes, Governor of California Gavin Newsom, and the late Robin Williams, among others, as well as the official photographer for Team USA at the Bocuse d'Or (the “culinary olympics”) in Lyon, France biannually. Under the leadership of Chef Thomas Keller we brought home silver one year and gold the next (go team!). After photographing four cookbooks (one of them earning a silver medal in the IPPY cookbook-specialty awards), my lens is focused on culinary, hospitality, lifestyle, portraiture and travel. I’m a visual storyteller, and it’s my nature to tell the most beautiful and meaningful version of a story that I can. Available for commercial, documentary, and editorial assignments (wine country to worldwide), I’d love to creatively collaborate!
