Of course, a biography of John would open with the usuals: the twin lens camera gifted to a boy by his father, high-school darkrooms, the MFA studies in NYC. Years of assisting industry giants and then the slow and steady growth to a satisfying career. But what that bio wouldn’t capture is what John views as the very best part of his work– that each project is an opportunity to connect with a person or idea at the deepest level. John’s real talent (and some say his superpower) is his ability to perceive his subjects’ inner character and then reveal it in his images. In this way, John’s work helps tell stories that are deep, meaningful and resonant.

Born in the early 80's in the East of France, Antoine mainly takes pictures of people, personalities more or less known for the press and the communication. He is a founding member of Mirage Collectif. In 2005, as a sociology student, he decided to take an interest in the context of film production in West Africa. It was at this time that he made his first portraits. He then abandoned his studies to devote himself fully to photography and gradually made his mark in the press, notably for the newspaper Metro, which offered him the chance to take portraits during the Cannes Film Festival. Since then, he has worked for numerous French and international publications, including Le Monde, L'Express, Le Parisien Magazine, Les Echos, The Wall Street Journal, The Australian Financial Review, Le Temps, Financial Times, and many others. He also lends his eye to companies, brands and their communication agencies, whether to illustrate annual reports or to carry out advertising campaigns.
Stephen Cardinale is a commercial and editorial photographer based in Denver, Colorado. Working across portraiture and visual reportage, he creates subtle and refined imagery that feels true to life – maintaining his authentic documentary style on both commercial and editorial projects. In his career as a photographer, university lecturer and producer, Stephen has learned that a clearly defined process leads to the greatest creative output, and that no singular vision ever gets the job done. A New Yorker and first-generation American to Italian parents, Stephen spends his spare time honing his carpentry skills and discovering forgotten native grapes in his mother’s home region of Abruzzo.

I love collaborating with my clients and getting to know them. I do whatever it takes to put my clients at ease by making photography fun, creative and enjoyable. I work closely with my clients to take their project from concept to completion. My photo projects have taken me across the street and around the globe. Working under pressure or in a fast-paced environment comes second nature to me. When I'm not shooting, you can probably find me in my garden, hiking something — somewhere or on my yoga mat. My alter ego to photography is being a 200 RYT at Blue Yoga Nyla in North Little Rock. When I’m not shooting, I’m teaching yoga, or deepening my own practice. Currently based in Little Rock, Arkansas, I have degree in journalism with a photojournalism emphasis. I began my professional photography career at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette where I was a staff photographer for more than 15 years.

Early experiences included a mercifully short career as a professional dishwasher and bus-boy at the Golden West House of Pancakes, a brief stint as an auto-glass technician, space sales for free monthlies in Santa Cruz, and in-home sales of kitchen cabinet refacing – worst job ever. Eventually became a general contractor and kitchen-and-bath designer until developing carpal tunnel syndrome, going back to my first love, photography. I feel a bond with designers and tradespeople and those who live with – and work in – what they make. I occasionally teach college classes and workshops on business practices for photographers. FAA-Certified 107 Drone Pilot.

Photography is about telling a story and I've been doing it as a commercial photographer for over twenty years. Whether it be through one frame or a series of images, I love making photographs that speak about the subject. I'm drawn to location choices that complement a subject yet recede enough to allow the subject to dominate the image. Since growing up in Houston, TX in my father's printing company, I've always enjoyed the meticulous nature of my business. From operating an offset press at the age of 15, I learned the importance of quality craftsmanship that has remained an important aspect throughout my life. What I truly love about photography is both the technical and artistic sides. It's the balance of both of these that create interesting images that resonate with the viewer. In this day of digital media and our constant bombardment by visual clutter, it is so important to make imagery that tells its story in an elegant and unique way. Whether it's a single still photograph or a series, I enjoy making images that successfully communicate my client's vision. I live in beautiful Grapevine, TX along with my wife Rebecca and our two kids… Noah (17) and Annalise (15).
In nearly fifteen years of photographic practice, I’ve shot pretty much everything: portraits for magazines, big corporations, and good ol’ straight up advertising; interiors for editorial and commercial clients; and tabletop for many magazines and one giant tech company. I’ve always had a hard time defining what kind of work I do because of that diversity, but most of the time it goes like this: An agency hires me for a portrait project. It goes pretty well and they like working with me, so they hire me for a corporate or advetising job, which together we crush. We are thick as thieves at this point, so when their client asks them: ‘hey, we want to shoot this whatchamacallit, what do you think?’ they think of me because I’m: 1. easy to work with, 2. good with lighting and technical stuff, 3. happy solving problems on the fly, and 4. always delivering to spec and on time. I will get into the infiniti pool without being asked, if that’s where the picture is.
I didn’t plan to be a photographer when I was a kid – I thought I’d be a veterinarian, an ad man on Madison Ave (hello, Don Draper!), or an astronaut. You know, the usual. But, I picked up a camera while in the army, and the rest, as they say, is history. My photography resume is long and diverse – at different times, I have been a conflict, newspaper, sports, lifestyle, fashion, portrait, feature and food photographer. I have lived and worked in NYC, LA, Miami, DC, Phoenix, Harrisburg, PA, and for the last 11 years, Charlotte. All of these locations and experiences through my career have shaped my perspective. I capture real moments, tell rich stories, and make people and products look great for brands, magazines and ad agencies. My work is real, relatable, honest and authentic. Whether everyday people or hired talent, I have a natural ability to make people comfortable in front of my lens. We have fun on my shoots, I don’t yell, and, on the best days, we eat NC BBQ. I live with my wife and 3 rescue dogs on an acre within the Charlotte city limits that we bought (mostly) for the dogs. When not out shooting, you can usually find me working on personal projects, or exploring a new hobby, or fly fishing for anything that swims. Some fun facts about me below – the rest you need to learn for yourself. So, let’s work together! • I drink a LOT of iced tea and there will always be some on set • I was a Paratrooper in the US Army and have over 75 jumps • I have seen every episode of Law and Order (go head, challenge me!) • I will travel almost anywhere, anytime to eat BBQ • Every fish I catch is released alive to live another day • I have counted over 25 species of birds at our yard feeders • I hiked over 700 miles of the Appalachian Trail in one trip

After attending Central Michigan University earning degrees in both fine art photography and psychology, followed by a three year stint working in finance, Sullivan headed south to Arizona where he turned his love of photography into a full-time occupation. A visual storyteller and portrait seeker he aims to entertain at times yet find the true subject somewhere in all of it simultaneously, be it shooting celebrities, athletes, or the guy next door. Today, with far reaching clients, Sullivan is one of the most well respected photographers in the Phoenix Metro area. His fine art has been shown in numbers galleries and museums around the states, including locally at the Phoenix Art Museum. Now, take the photographic world of Brandon Sullivan and fuse it with the illustrative world of Kyle Lane where collaborative designs burst through traditionally framed boundaries of visual storytelling. With their unique visual form that combines the most crucial aspects of each of their distinctive talents they are making an altogether integrated and innovative style now referred to as fotostration. Sullivan works out of and co-owns Legend City Studios.
