Pietro Milici is an Italian photographer based in the USA, where he works as a freelance photographer and videographer. His work is mainly based on architecture and portraits: “I love how architecture can be a portrait of the society and the world we live in, and how a portrait of a person is the structure of the life each one of us lives every day.”He starts working as a photographer in 2007. In 2012 he graduates in Marine Biology in Italy, and in 2013 he receives his Master's degree in Photography and Design at Elisava Design School in Barcelona. After various exhibitions in the city of Barcelona, he collaborates with artists and photographers, commencing his work as a professional photographer. I am inherently interested in this discipline as a way of conceiving the city, the architecture, the people, their emotions, and their stories. I search for the unexpected, the untold, the overlooked and reveal any hidden facets that the subject – be it a person or a city street – might withhold."

Raised in the desert, Andrea Calo grew up on the edge of urban sprawl in Phoenix, Arizona. Between sunburns and brushes with cholla cacti, the desert made a great impression on her in terms of humans' shared relationship with place. Exploring these themes, Andrea received her BFA in Photography from the Herberger Institute of Design and the Arts at Arizona State University in 2009. Andrea's foundation in architectural photography was built photographing desert homes in the greater Phoenix area. In 2012 she relocated to Austin, TX, where she collaborates with clients in translating space to image. When not at work, Andrea can be found at the best place in the world, Barton Springs Pool.
I have been photographing architecture and interiors for over twenty years and have worked with many of the industry's most distinguished architects and designers. As a visual storyteller, my objective is to distill the essence of the spatial experience with photographs that encourage the viewer to stop, reflect, and respond to the project, appreciating not only its visual presence but also how it relates to its environment and the beings that interact with it. I work primarily with natural light but pivot to a highly crafted cinematic lighting approach when stylistically appropriate. I have contributed to Architectural Digest, Interior Design, and many other international design publications and books. Thank you for taking the time to explore my work.

A similar passion later carried him to New York, where he spent 10 years working and studying photography on his own and at the International Center of Photography and The School of Visual Arts. He furthered his professional education in photography by assisting some of New York's top photographers, including legendary Magnum master Bruce Davidson and renowned food and travel photographer Ben Fink. What did you want to be when you grew up? I almost became a Nuclear Engineer. Thankfully, after about a year of college physics and math, my creative brain cells wrestled control over the nerdy geek in me and pointed me to Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. I still have a bit of that nerdy geek in me, but in a creative photographic way. The San Francisco Bay Area is where I landed after graduation and where I launched Vantage Point Photography. I love what I do. I love the process. I love creating images that cause people to pause, to look, to think and sometimes to smile. My other loves? My kids, our dog, a good hiking trail, and my SX 70 loaded with Polaroid film.
Early experiences included a mercifully short career as a professional dishwasher and bus-boy at the Golden West House of Pancakes, a brief stint as an auto-glass technician, space sales for free monthlies in Santa Cruz, and in-home sales of kitchen cabinet refacing – worst job ever. Eventually became a general contractor and kitchen-and-bath designer until developing carpal tunnel syndrome, going back to my first love, photography. I feel a bond with designers and tradespeople and those who live with – and work in – what they make. I occasionally teach college classes and workshops on business practices for photographers. FAA-Certified 107 Drone Pilot.

Hey, I’m Ryan. I’m a photographer based in Gloucestershire, England, working across the UK and abroad for interior designers and luxury hotels. With the utmost attention to detail and a calm determination, I strive to create bold, graphic, compelling imagery that pulls you into the scene. Working mostly on high-end residential projects, I value long-term relationships with interior designers where we work together to build the visual assets for your portfolio. A typical shoot is one to two days, where we usually work collaboratively to meticulously compose, light, and style a set of images that completely communicates the design scheme and intent of the project. I hold myself to the highest technical standards and ensure colours, textures and details are accurately represented. The resulting images can help you achieve industry recognition by winning prestigious awards or getting published, grow your fans and followers online, and builds a library of completed work that is not only a useful documentary of your past achievements but also serves as a valuable resource for ideas and inspiration that improves your client’s experience and has potential to persuade them to buy into your ideas and vision.
Jeff Herron studied commercial photography at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, before relocating to South Florida to pursue his passion. For Jeff, it all started with light, lines and an innate fascination with how these two pillars of art and design translated into photography. Jeff was immediately inspired by the works of the New Topographics movement in the 1970’s with the highly formalized, almost banal aesthetic of man-made structures within a landscape. It resonated how they were able to capture those landscapes in a way that most people wouldn't notice, even if they saw it on a daily basis. You can see the influence here under "Personal Work". Over the past 15 years, Jeff’s eye – coupled with his love of collaboration and dedication to his craft – has earned himself an impressive client base, spanning across the United States, the Caribbean, and beyond, including: Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, JW Marriott, Hyatt, Westin, Sheraton, AC Hotels, Knoll, CBT Architects, Siemens, Lumens, Couples Resorts, PGA Resort, OPL Hotels, Lloyd Loom, Sotheby’s, Christies, Columbia Sussex, Ett Hem Designs, Centex Construction, Bluegreen, and UBS Bank. His work has also been featured in numerous print publications such as Home Magazine, Gulfshore Life and Tropic Magazine.
Bruce T. Martin is an American Fine Art photographer who uses photography to document the world, explore perceptions, and question our viewpoints. After graduating from Syracuse University in 1977, he began working as a Historical Preservation photographer, using photography to help put endangered buildings on the National Register of Historic Places. His photographs are in a number of private and public collections and have been exhibited throughout the U.S. and Central America. Today, along with exhibiting his fine art photography projects, he is a leading architectural photographer, making photographs for the nation's foremost architects, designers, and publications. For assignments, he uses High Resolution Digital Camera systems for the maximum image fidelity possible, complete perspective control movements and the highest quality lenses available. These systems rival 4×5 film in quality while more cost efficient and allowing for greater modification in post-production.
At Dean Lavenson Photography, Dean brings an utter passion to the set. He is a master with light and an absolute perfectionist. He is as giddy about photography today as when he was a student. And with that passion comes with over 25 years of experience. After graduating from Brooks Institute of Photography and freelancing in L.A. for a few years, Dean relocated his family from Santa Barbara, California to Louisville in 1989. He’s still trying to figure out how that happened. All he remembers is a big yellow Ryder truck with a matching yellow ’73 VW Bug in tow and his wife, Dianne, crying across every state line. Dean still dreams about the beach, but over the years he’s grown to love Louisville. As for how Dean first got started with a camera? Now that’s a long story. Let’s just say, he was on his way to becoming the next Wynton Marsellis. Lucky for Mr. Marsellis, Dean ended up in Beginning Photography as a high school senior. Ask him in person and he’ll give you the looooong version.

Currently residing in Melbourne, Naomi also spent two decades refining her craft in Canada – a second home and a source of creative inspiration. Food, drink, and feasting play a central role in Naomi’s photography – flavours, textures, and colours all vividly come to life whether as part of a heaving table shot or through sexy and sophisticated close-ups that hero ingredients while making them nothing short of enticing. She treats her culinary subjects with the same respect and care that a chef or mixologist would. Elsewhere, Naomi’s interior photography combines her keen awareness of architectural flow with a sense of intimacy as she finds the true rhythm of a space. While her portrait work bridges the livelihood and personality of her subjects – designers, artists, and professionals among them – in the ease of their natural surroundings. Naomi’s motion work is both intimate, refined, and at times even playful – spaces, objects, and people are presented with great care for composition and form, while her commercial work always manages to capture a brand’s unique identity. Refined yet accessible. Explorative and illuminating. Naomi’s photographic work is passionate – and passionately creative.
I am a Côte d’Azur-based Architecture & interior photographer mainly commissioned in Europe. My work leans towards an editorial style where the goal is to deliver natural-looking images. This is to give someone the feeling that they are actually at the property, on the spot where the photo is taken. The use of light, composition and human interaction is key to delivering strong convincing photos. With all my photos I try to deliver contrast to an image; this can be with color, movement, or composition. My photography covers work for architects, designers, and furniture makers that are mainly in the residential field, SAOTA, Knut Hjeltnes, and Atelier K Architecture are some of my clients. My work has also been published, digital and in print in magazines and books such as Häuser Magazine, Beta-Plus, Callway, Elle Decoration, and Style Campagne. I have been named by architectural Photo Awards, such as the APALMANAC photo awards and the One-Photo Challenge by Architizer. The LOOP Design awards listed me as one of the 100 most inspiring Architectural Photographers in 2022.
