Diego Texera is a Miami based commercial and editorial photographer specializing in lifestyle, travel and food…in no particular order. As a Kansas City-based commercial and editorial photographer, Steve Puppe’s freelance assignments range from food and environmental portraiture, to healthcare, agriculture and corporate photography. Living with his wife, two daughters and son outside the city, and with a studio in the Strawberry Hill area, Steve has stayed connected to the city where he’s spent much of his life. Steve’s interest in photography, like his connection to his hometown, has deep roots. With a painter for a mother, he was exposed to art at a young age, taking every art class available to him. He flirted with the paintbrush and the pencil, but it wasn’t until he received a camera that he fell in love. From his first high school photo class, Steve knew what he wanted to do with his life. While still a high school student, he had the good fortune of working with Hallmark Cards, which paired him with commercial photographers, and paid for his film and photo trips. Steve continued his photo studies at Kansas University, where he studied advertising and photojournalism. He also freelanced for Hallmark and commercial photographers on the side. Through Hallmark, Steve furthered his creative development, learning how to capture a diverse range of subjects from people to still life. He took that experience with him into a career in photojournalism, covering a variety of stories for notable papers. Eventually, Steve headed back to the studio, working as an in-house photographer at an ad agency. It was there that his degree in advertising gave came into play, giving him the insight to take on a wide array of clients and campaigns. Working as a graphic designer and photographer allowed Steve to take projects from conception all the way to the press check. Fast forward and nowadays, Steve combines that commercial experience with photojournalistic story telling shooting for notable clients like Cerner, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Sprint, Nike, Google, AT&T, Chrysler and IBM. When he’s not out on assignment, he’s cooking up some Kansas City BBQ, or taking pictures of his family because when Steve’s taking a picture, he’s happy.

Commercial Photographer and Cinematographer: Jamie Orillion, a husband, and father, shoots digital for work and film for passion. As a graphic artist, he was always in need of better images than what was being provided by his clients. Thinking “how hard can it be” he purchased his first digital camera and a lighting kit and started shooting. Through constant testing, trial and error, along with a strong determination, Jamie was naturally directed to moving from a graphic design studio to the photography business that you see today. Fueled by quality, Jamie constantly strives for the highest quality work in both personal and professional projects. I'm fun and easygoing. I love being on a good set with great people. Let's be serious, but not take ourselves too seriously. Let's create! Here's the deal: Married my high school sweetheart; I have 6 kids; I love coffee; Sushi is always a good option; Old enough to know life before digital; I once played rugby in college and had no idea what I was doing; I can't remember if rugby was before or after a pink mohawk; Relationships over resources; Pictures are cool but people's stories are cooler; I love what I do; Specifics are important but I just want to shoot; Let's Connect.
I shoot food, people + interiors and love each of them. Often I am lucky enough to combine all three in one shot! I love to work with clients and agencies to create images that will clarify and elevate their brand. It is important to me that every photoshoot is collaborative, relaxed, efficient and FUN! TGP is equipped to handle all aspects of production for shoots of any scale. I team with producers on larger scale productions to ensure a smooth and successful shoot and client experience. Two things: • Based in Dallas, TX • Shooting professionally since 2000 (and for free since a long time before that!) Education: University of Texas at Austin (hook 'em!) BFA in Studio Art (the degree most likely to result in big money) A stab at being serious: I graduated with a BFA in Studio Art, with a primary concentration in photography. I learned almost nothing about photography as a career, but having my roots in fine art always felt like a good thing. It gave me an invaluable understanding and reverence for the art and honed my ability to "see" thoroughly and critically. I always strive to capture a genuine moment and / or to see things in a unique and compelling way. I love the collaborative aspect of commercial shooting. I care very much about delivering for my clients — it is their time, their money, their brand and if i’m chosen to represent it, I will always give 100%.

Stewart was born in Montreal inside an elevator during a snowstorm to an architect dad and an actress mom. Some say that this is how he got his discerning sense of shot design and a love of casting people. Although, none of this ever seemed relevant to him. Working out scenes at the dinner table for a solid 17 years while living at home, definitely left a mark on how he thinks. He gets a charge out of working with people from all walks of life, not only due to his upbringing but mostly due to his innate curiosity in hearing their stories and learning about what makes others tick. It was this curiosity that drove Stewart to create a monograph titled “Identity”, a biopic project featuring well known and unusual people. Each portrait in the book is combined with their own personally handwritten quotes, expressing their uniqueness & individuality. Walter Isaacson comments, "Each page will delight you, and also make you think. It’s a treasure.” Likewise, Stewart’s most recent title, “Seeing Red”, takes a fun jab at the urban myth of redheads becoming extinct.

Even his frequent work with children and animals hasn’t deterred him from his passionate pursuit of great images. Photography is about telling a story and I've been doing it as a commercial photographer for over twenty years. Whether it be through one frame or a series of images, I love making photographs that speak about the subject. I'm drawn to location choices that complement a subject yet recede enough to allow the subject to dominate the image. Since growing up in Houston, TX in my father's printing company, I've always enjoyed the meticulous nature of my business. From operating an offset press at the age of 15, I learned the importance of quality craftsmanship that has remained an important aspect throughout my life. What I truly love about photography is both the technical and artistic sides. It's the balance of both of these that create interesting images that resonate with the viewer. In this day of digital media and our constant bombardment by visual clutter, it is so important to make imagery that tells its story in an elegant and unique way. Whether it's a single still photograph or a series, I enjoy making images that successfully communicate my client's vision. I live in beautiful Grapevine, TX along with my wife Rebecca and our two kids… Noah (17) and Annalise (15).
My name is Ben Sassani and I have a little infatuation with Texas BBQ and Big Bend National Park. I grew up with BBQ in Texas, but fell in love with the craft style BBQ in 2014. Since then I’ve traveled all around the country from New York to LA eating all types of BBQ (Texas-style mainly) and making friends with the pitmasters the ones responsible for making the amazing food. My love for portraits has led me to doing portraits of folks in the BBQ community accompanied with stories from them on BBQ Confessional. My love for West Texas and Big Bend has led me to doing landscapes, cityscapes, and nightscapes around the country. I appreciate everyone who has supported me throughout this journey and hope to keep doing all this for a long time to com.
Shannon O'Hara grew up on the campus of Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, Mississippi, where his father is an art professor while his mother taught art at the Mississippi School of the Arts. A chronic daydreamer, Shannon left his home at 16 to pursue his dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer, a passion that eventually earned him a job as a dancer with the Houston Ballet, the nation's fourth largest company. A similar passion later carried him to New York, where he spent 10 years working and studying photography on his own and at the International Center of Photography and The School of Visual Arts. He furthered his professional education in photography by assisting some of New York's top photographers, including legendary Magnum master Bruce Davidson and renowned food and travel photographer Ben Fink. She was inspired to quit her day job after a soul searching road trip and has never looked back. Buff's passion for photography brought her to New York in 2000. She traveled extensively shooting for clients such as Travel and Leisure, Gourmet, House Beautiful, Body and Soul, Parents, Hyperion, Time Inc. and Coastal Living. As a child, Phil was always exploring with friends, running through backyards, hopping fences, and riding bikes all over Kansas City. The only thing missing was a camera. Studying film at Columbia College Chicago, he became awakened by the craft of visual story telling. The creative experience reminded him of youthful play. An internship with Dennis Manarchy showed him the fast paced world of commercial film production. Eager for more experience, he moved to NYC where received an MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts. He then began shooting food, most notably for the New York Times. Next was Austin, where he assisted and traveled with the brilliant Dan Winters, a fortunate experience which prepared him with the necessary tools to explore the craft of photography. Phil Kline is now a commercial and editorial photographer who shoots portraits and still life. Conceptual humor is not only seen in the work but also displayed in his on set spirit. He’s just fun to work with!

I love my job, so much it doesn't feel like a job. Still can't believe I get to make photos for a living. Favorites photos? Ones that are equal parts pretty and useful. Favorites shoots? Ones that involve a scrappy crew and client, where by the end it feels a bit like summer camp did, a bit weird to say goodbye to the people your life has revolved around for days, but we all leave feeling accomplished as a team. Favorite subject? People of any age! Though I do love a good detail, an enticing dish, or anything that helps tell a story and inviting. Background? Born in Florida, childhood summers in California, and thrice Texas transplant (once for college, once for work, and once for hubs.) Liberal arts degree in history; various jobs after college that made photography seem like the best career in the world; married with kids; owner of one seriously adorable and ornery dog; and a "human pinball" technically residing in Austin, TX, though frequently found in Florida or in a window seat headed elsewhere.
I am an editorial and commercial photographer living and working in Austin, Texas with my husband and sweet daughters. At 13 I took my first darkroom class at the Southwest Center of Arts and Crafts in San Antonio. The moment I watched an image appear in the developer I knew that there was magic in photography and I wanted to know everything about that magic. I graduated in photography at the top of my class at St. Edward’s University where I learned how to be an artist from compassionate and beautiful teachers.
Originally from Manchester, UK, I'm currently based in Austin, Texas. I consider much of the work I do to be about storytelling – perhaps because I come from a writing background. This is true not only of my environmental portraits, but also of the branding imagery I've produced for a range of clients, from the AI geniuses at Hypergiant, to global corporations like Accenture and Rack Space. If I have a guiding philosophy, it is that the best work invariably comes from a place of authentic connection and engagement. PARTIAL CLIENT LIST: Accenture / Hypergiant / Rackspace / Pentagram / GYK Antler / British Airways / Environmental Defense Fund / Volusion / ESO / OJO Labs / Michael Hsu Office of Architecture / The New York Times / The Guardian / Texas Monthly / Newsweek / Fast Company /British Airways High Life / Food & Wine Magazine / D Magazine / Imbibe / Sift / Austin Monthly
EVERYONE HAS A STORY TO TELL. And being a storyteller at heart, Eric has an eye for crafting visual narratives with authenticity, emotion, and a sense of place. Along side his distinctive food, beverage, and lifestyle work, Eric is adept at capturing the essentials of a well-rounded travel or brand story such as portraiture, interiors, and landscape photography. And with an affinity for working on location, he's as comfortable photographing cowboys at dawn on a Texas ranch or donning a wetsuit to capture commercial fishery action, as he is shooting beautifully plated food in an upscale restaurant. Additionally, his 20+ year background in branding, graphic design and web development help him visualize the end result of a photoshoot, as well as develop the story flow and shot list. Eric is based in the Texas Hill Country, near Austin and San Antonio and is available for travel across the state and beyond.

Rick Souders is an honors graduate from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Rick's unique creative and business background has allowed him to work at a Fortune 250 Beverage Company, then to one of the largest Advertising Agencies in the US, to owning one of America’s top food and beverage Studios. In his own words: I grew up in the rural high plains near the Pawnee National Grasslands. Yes, very rural. My mom worked at a portrait studio and my dad, amongst many things, was a professional leather artist and taught leather craft. So, I lived in a very creative and inspiring atmosphere. Growing up in a small town allowed me to raise chickens, rabbits, and pheasants and have many pets including toads, tarantulas, possums and a raccoon. My passion for food and agriculture runs deep. I appreciate where our food comes from and I think that has played an important role in my love of food and beverage photography. Today I live on the Studio property in a beautiful environmentally friendly ranch home. Other quirky things include a degree in Taxidermy and my 1967 Bentley.
