At the age of three, Al Argueta first traveled to Guatemala with his father and was utterly captivated by the country’s landscape and its Maya inhabitants. He would later live in Guatemala for two years, allowing him to formally learn Spanish and to experience Guatemala’s culture firsthand. During summers in high school and college, Al often took a month off to travel to Guatemala, exploring its jungles, ruins, and villages. It was also when he first dabbled in photography, capturing images of the people and landscapes he encountered. In college, Al majored in Journalism and Latin American Studies, managing to squeeze in two study-abroad programs, one in Manchester and one in Maastricht, and traveled through much of Europe. After college, he interned with Costa Rica’s Tico Times, getting his first exposure to travel writing and photography, in addition to covering then-President Bill Clinton’s visit to Guatemala. Al worked briefly for a newspaper in the Virgin Islands before moving on to photography school in Hawaii. He also taught English to college students in Thailand for a time, continuing to satiate the travel bug that bit him years back. Al now lives in Austin, Texas, where he’s managed to stay put for an unprecedented thirteen years. Anthony Lanneretonne is an interior, architecture, food & travel photographer based in Nice, South of France. Born in 1973 in Versailles but mainly raised in Africa, French Polynesia and French West Indies, he has preserved all along this time the pleasure of travel and discovery. Graduated of a cinema school. He used to work in movie and stills production and finally became assistant for major fashion & interiors photographers. Start his career as freelance photographer in 2001, shooting for numerous french and international magazines for more than 22 years now. Fine gourmet, naturally curious about everything that shapes taste, Anthony produces food works and travel reports with fresh and unique approach. Aside his commercial work he develops personal work in landscape photography.
His years spent as an assistant interior designer, specialising in lighting, changed the way Antony approached photography. He attended a photography course at The University of The West Indies, where he discovered light in a new way through the methods and teachings of Desmond Clarke, Dean Collins, Tony Corbell and Monte Zucker. He amassed an arsenal of as many video and print publishings from these gurus as he could find, and began his journey to becoming the go-to person for photographic lighting in his home, Trinidad and Tobago. Antony's approach to making a photograph is deliberate and precise, manipulating light to capture as much of the final image on the sensor as possible. He is not one to "fix it in post". His skill set has to be versatile to exist in a small market. He has photographed portraits of heads-of-state, corporate figures, brides, newborns, landscapes, products ranging from cosmetics to engineering equipment, gourmet food, glamour and architecture, but his primary focus has always been on advertising portraiture and editorial work, which he captures with a unique perspective. Encouraged by the success of his hosting photographic workshops and talks in the Caribbean with some of the profession's renowned educators, Antony started his "Language of Light" – photographic lighting workshop series in 2013 and has also taught photography at the University of the West Indies and School of Business & Computer Studies.
Hi, I'm Kamil. I'm a photographer living and working on Vancouver Island – in the Tofino/ Ucluelet area. I hold Canadian and EU passports. I deliver artful and emotionally-rich images for advertising and editorial clients. My personal photographic practice is centered around colours, patterns, abstracts, and contrasts. So whether I'm shooting portraits or fashion, a brand campaign, or a travel story, these naturally weave themselves into the images. I'm currently enjoying my connection to the ocean, surfing daily, and being in a physically wild coastal environment. In the near future, I will be building a destination studio here on the west coast of Vancouver Island, to serve my personal artsy needs, but also those of clients. I love my work, and I have a lot of fun with it.

For 42 years, professional photographer David Papazian has brought stories to life through his dynamic photography. Originally from the San Francisco Bay area, his interest in photography began at an early age. Inspired by his father Harry, who worked as an art director and head of marketing for the San Francisco Examiner newspaper, David embarked on a high school trip to Europe at the age of 18, delving into the world of photography. David earned a bachelor’s degree and graduated from the prestigious Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara. Soon after, he launched his photography career, moving north to Portland, Oregon. There, he worked for world-class brands, refining his skills, and transitioning from film to digital photography. While balancing his professional career with personal commitments, he started a family. To supplement his existing clients, David explored stock photography and found success for nearly 30 years. His images are available on Getty, Shutterstock, and Adobe Stock, with nearly a million downloads since he began. Whether photographing doors in major cities, capturing the iconic Iowa State Fair, or walking in cornfields, his stock images resonate with graphic designers. In recent years, new opportunities have allowed David to diversify his photography projects by capturing images of equipment, often traveling to remote areas in the Pacific Northwest forests or construction job sites for his clients. Adaptability and versatility are key when David dons a hard hat, safety vest, and work boots, working in natural conditions and patiently waiting for the perfect shot. Photography is David’s passion, and he’s dedicated over four decades to his career. It excites and motivates him, and he always looks forward to the next shoot.

A similar passion later carried him to New York, where he spent 10 years working and studying photography on his own and at the International Center of Photography and The School of Visual Arts. He furthered his professional education in photography by assisting some of New York's top photographers, including legendary Magnum master Bruce Davidson and renowned food and travel photographer Ben Fink. My work spans many different genres – from shooting people to focusing on things we wear, the things we eat, to the places we live, to the things we love, and the things we crave. I love to capture it all. People ask me to help them tell stories through a lens. I can do that – I love it. I spend my time shooting in and out my studio, and traveling when requested. I travel for fun when I can because i believe personal time is essential. I prefer to be outside. I try to surround myself with good hearts. I love all kinds of music. I like pretending that I can play guitar. I often find myself staring in awe at my boys. I think my wife is cool as hell. Having grown up 3 blocks from Lambeau Field, I will always bleed green and gold. I will always have dogs. I love video games but never play. I will always want birds in my house but will never have one as it would make me sad. I want my boys to be older for certain things but I don't ever really want them to grow up. I will probably never be satisfied with my landscaping and garden. I will always want the feeling of a workout without any of the exercise. I will always cringe at the act of explaining myself and then end up rambling on and on and on and on and on…….
Currently residing in Melbourne, Naomi also spent two decades refining her craft in Canada – a second home and a source of creative inspiration. Food, drink, and feasting play a central role in Naomi’s photography – flavours, textures, and colours all vividly come to life whether as part of a heaving table shot or through sexy and sophisticated close-ups that hero ingredients while making them nothing short of enticing. She treats her culinary subjects with the same respect and care that a chef or mixologist would. Elsewhere, Naomi’s interior photography combines her keen awareness of architectural flow with a sense of intimacy as she finds the true rhythm of a space. While her portrait work bridges the livelihood and personality of her subjects – designers, artists, and professionals among them – in the ease of their natural surroundings. Naomi’s motion work is both intimate, refined, and at times even playful – spaces, objects, and people are presented with great care for composition and form, while her commercial work always manages to capture a brand’s unique identity. Refined yet accessible. Explorative and illuminating. Naomi’s photographic work is passionate – and passionately creative.
At the Texas House of Representatives he worked on an ongoing documentary project photographing lawmakers during the legislative session. He soon amassed a brilliant catalog of images that were created on a work-for-hire basis and can never be published by him for money. This marked the last time he would ever be paid to shoot 35mm available light with nothing but a Leica and a bag of Tri-X. At the Texas Department of Public Safety he traveled the state for six years as a Forensic Photographer. There he amassed a brilliant catalog of images he would rather not think too hard about. His work with blood spatter patterns has been called "adequate" by several DNA and Trace Evidence analysts. He subsequently worked for renowned photographer Dan Winters, who put him to work as his assistant for several years. Sequestered in Driftwood, Texas, under Winters' tutelage, Jeff developed his photographic skills, a strong work ethic and a penchant for Red Wings.
I am a Côte d’Azur-based Architecture & interior photographer mainly commissioned in Europe. My work leans towards an editorial style where the goal is to deliver natural-looking images. This is to give someone the feeling that they are actually at the property, on the spot where the photo is taken. The use of light, composition and human interaction is key to delivering strong convincing photos. With all my photos I try to deliver contrast to an image; this can be with color, movement, or composition. My photography covers work for architects, designers, and furniture makers that are mainly in the residential field, SAOTA, Knut Hjeltnes, and Atelier K Architecture are some of my clients. My work has also been published, digital and in print in magazines and books such as Häuser Magazine, Beta-Plus, Callway, Elle Decoration, and Style Campagne. I have been named by architectural Photo Awards, such as the APALMANAC photo awards and the One-Photo Challenge by Architizer. The LOOP Design awards listed me as one of the 100 most inspiring Architectural Photographers in 2022.
