I first started out as a photojournalist so storytelling is in my DNA. With over 12 years experience working in editorial photography I took that knowledge to commercial photography. The goal of any good photo is to draw in a viewer and make a connection. Today, we are overwhelmed with visuals coming at us from phones, computers, televisions, billboards, you name it. So in order to make a statement, images need to resonate with your audience. I pride myself in telling brand narrative stories that bring the viewer in to create an interconnection and showcase an experience. This is my passion. While based in Nashville, TN I've lived all over the United States and experienced the diversity of America. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I grew up in Louisville, KY and it will always be my home. Because of that I'm partial to bourbon, horses, and baseball bats. When not working I enjoy exploring Nashville with my wife, playing the guitar, buying records, or planning my next big trip. So let's make a connection. Tell me your story!

My name is Luke Copping, and I'm a Buffalo NY based commercial and editorial portrait photographer. I grew up in Canada but now live in Buffalo with my wife and kids. We love it here, and a lot of my photography focuses on the makers and doers who are busting their asses to make this Rust Belt city thrive again — I'm grateful that I get to be a part of telling that story. I create portraits for advertising agencies, magazines, and corporate clients across the US, Canada, and Europe — my portraits capture the vision, drive, and struggle of leaders, competitors, and driven underdogs. I’m allergic to cats and boredom — being a photographer is a good cure for the second one because I get to tell a different story every day. Even though I went to a great school and have had some fantastic mentors, I like to tell people I learned everything I know about photography during a training montage (queue the inspiring synth music…) If you're ever in Buffalo, I'll take you to the super-secret wing spots locals go to. And when you get bored of wings, I'll show you how this city really eats. I love black licorice, baking bread, reading horror novels, collecting fountain pens, exploring Buffalo's local food scene, and taking aimless late-night drives. I adore travel and will happily fly across the country/planet to make an image or two. I'm scared of dolls. I believe portrait photography is more than just a technical exercise and is instead a synthesis of vision, moment, and process that illustrates and amplifies something about the subject that is usually unseen. I have the same birthday as Louis Daguerre..

I'm a freelance photographer based near Stuttgart, Germany. For me, photography is a passport into people's lives (who usually have very little time…) When i get a call, I do my research, grab my camera bag and I'm ready to walk into a CEO's office, factory building or retirement home to do my work, usually without a crew or a lot of gear. By the way, I love minimalism, clean compositions and the central perspective. Stanley Kubrick and Werner Herzog are my personal heroes, maybe because I learned the craft of imagemaking at Filmacademy Ludwigsburg…
John Emerson is an environmental portrait photographer with over twenty years of experience. Since starting his business, John has traveled all over the United States for many prominent clients for both advertising and editorial assignments. In addition to his commissioned assignments, John is currently working on several photographic story telling projects. Current stories are under the “Project” header. Originally from Manchester, UK, I'm currently based in Austin, Texas. I consider much of the work I do to be about storytelling – perhaps because I come from a writing background. This is true not only of my environmental portraits, but also of the branding imagery I've produced for a range of clients, from the AI geniuses at Hypergiant, to global corporations like Accenture and Rack Space. If I have a guiding philosophy, it is that the best work invariably comes from a place of authentic connection and engagement. PARTIAL CLIENT LIST: Accenture / Hypergiant / Rackspace / Pentagram / GYK Antler / British Airways / Environmental Defense Fund / Volusion / ESO / OJO Labs / Michael Hsu Office of Architecture / The New York Times / The Guardian / Texas Monthly / Newsweek / Fast Company /British Airways High Life / Food & Wine Magazine / D Magazine / Imbibe / Sift / Austin Monthly
I don’t enjoy talking or writing about myself; I like my photographs to do that for me. Yet I know it is helpful for those reviewing my body of work to know a little about me and how I approach my profession. The photo I’ve elected to include of me is from my first visit to Poland at the age of 10. My Ciocia Nusia bought me my first camera, igniting a curiosity that has matured over time and experience but remains the cornerstone of my approach to my work. Photography has provided me with the opportunity to work with subjects and attend events that I would otherwise have missed, thereby enriching my professional and personal lives. I love the creative side of photography and each year complete independent photographic projects so I continue to learn and never become complacent. My goal is to help such organizations develop their voice. When working with clients, I firmly believe collaboration is important to ensure the product is of the highest quality, meets the clients’ needs and desires, and is delivered in a timely manner. No matter what size a project is, I pride myself in doing whatever it takes to get a great product. My clients range from Loyola Hospital, BusinessWeek, DDB, Supercuts, Northwestern University, Forbes, Follett of Higher Learning, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, BlackWell Consulting, First Health, Harley Davidson, GTCR, Simple Truth, Allstate and Apple, Inc.

I specialize in editorial portrait and advertising photography as well as lifestyle, corporate, food, and travel. I have a BFA in painting, and over twenty years of experience as a photographer. Whether I’m one-on-one with a farmer in the orchard or working with a team in the studio, my goal is to bring a unique vision to the project. I aim to collect moments that are part of a larger whole. Inspirations: mountain views, southwest desert air, finding magic in the ordinary, and getting my hands dirty in a garden. Interests include: cheese (all dairy products in general), plant hoarding, postcard collecting, reading magazines, and and giving belly rubs to my blue heelers.

Authentic storytelling. Two words far overused these days. Even so… That’s what I'm about. It's an honest take that I've been bringing to brands, nonprofits and editorial clients for over 20 years. Mostly out of doors. And long before Instagram filters and overused hashtag modifiers. Need still pictures? Moving pictures? Or both? Give me a shout. I'd love to collaborate and help tell your story.

Matt is an award-winning editorial portrait, commercial advertising, industrial, and sports photographer out of a southern town just a few minutes south of Atlanta called Macon. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from Mercer University in Human Services ( he's a people person) Back in the day, he tried his hand in TV as a commercial TV producer and was promoted to a sports reporter. During his time there he shot local news and a little photography (he stuck with the latter). When he's not on assignment, he's more than likely watching his favorite soccer team Arsenal FC, boxing, coaching soccer, reading, drinking hazelnut coffee, or listening to 80's music (and yes he's a huge Hall and Oates fan). He's also an avid comic collector who is one of a few people to hold an original copy of the 1984 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 first print…COWABUNGA Matt is available to travel for assignments within the US and internationally. He keeps his passport ready!
ABOUT I fell into photography and into climbing at the same time, in my early twenties. The two fed each other: I had to climb bigger and wilder mountains so I would get better images, and I had to become a better photographer so I could do justice to the epic scenes unfolding in front of me. Over ten years ago now, I made the decision to drop out of my computer science studies and move to the climbing mecca of Chamonix to be a full time adventure photographer. I am grateful that photography has given me so many opportunities to live unique experiences. There are too many to list exhaustively, but highlights include sailing an expedition yacht around Cape Horn, being invited to an Ethiopian coffee ceremony in Dadaab Refugee Camp, photographing Usain Bolt at the Olympics, skiing to the North Pole, naming three (small) mountains in Greenland, adventure racing through Tierra del Fuego, climbing on K2 and getting winched from a rescue helicopter at night [1]. Though I have since branched out in other genres of photography, from portraiture to humanitarian, automotive and industrial work, I remain passionate about using the still image as a powerful tool to tell stories and convey emotions. I am also a problem solver at heart, used to dealing with the complicated logistics of shooting in wild places with unpredictable weather. And when the circumstances call for it, I have even been known to put on a producer hat. After some time in the Canadian Rockies, I now live near Halifax, Nova Scotia, in Atlantic Canada, with my wife and two children. I miss Chamonix too much to stay away for long, though, and frequently travel back to the French Alps.

Working as a proven photographer for nearly 18 years in Honolulu, Marco Garcia is finally feeling like a local. Rubber slippas are the de rigueur footwear, and his once all black ensembles worn in Manhattan have been replaced with vintage aloha shirts. His island wear clothing hasn’t affected his shooting prowess, and his client base and exposure continue to grow. In recent weeks, The New York Times has featured his work on their travel sections, he photographed cocktails for the Trump hotel brand, and did numerous corporate headshots for Hawaiian Airlines. But more importantly, Marco added writing to his arsenal of skills. Marco has written several national travel pieces about the Hawaiian islands and has done several in depth interviews for Oahu Publications and several websites. A close friend once told Marco that his pictures were lyrical, and a writer was really hidden within the pixels. As Marco continues to enjoy the daily green flashes at sunset, he hasn’t forgotten how to service his diverse client base from across the globe. He's available for portraits, food, and travel assignments across the islands and the Pacific.
