About
Robert Rausch
Based in Tuscumbia, Alabama
Speaks
English
Robert lived and worked in Paris, New York, and Los Angeles before obtaining a Masters of Fine Art from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. With an eye toward beauty, he added design to his photography portfolio. His creative focus has garnered Rausch both critical acclaim and the admiration of peers and clients. After moving to Alabama and staying true to his commitment to sustainable living, Robert recycled as much of the Design Center as possible. Reusing the wood, brick, and architectural features, the building is steeped in history and has become a welcome addition to the downtown.
His photography can be seen in the New York Times, Travel & Leisure, Garden and Gun, Southern Living, Ladies Home Journal, Elle, American Craft, Cottage Living, and Veranda, to name just a few.
Robert’s devotion to Slow Design is evident in his work and the clients his work attracts. Robert’s design work can be see at Anthropologie, Hilton Hotels, Whole Foods, Ted Montana Grill, The Waldorf Astoria, Billy Reid, Alabama Chanin, St. Joe Company, and Serenbe, among others.
